Ranger Point has come through once again! Ordered a fly weight loading gate and easy take down screw to go with my medium lever loop on my Marlin 336. Can't wait to get some more parts to wrap this one up and get to the next one!

The original load gate was a definite finger biter. Happy with the smooth loading and added uniqueness of the gold.

Marlin Lever Action Loading Gate - Flyweight Fast, Easy, Smooth
Night and day difference. While I could load my Marlin it was something of a chore, and always done with a little internal sigh. The rounds go in like butter now- my wife (who could not load it with the stock gate) can load it easily now. Installation was breezy too, I should add. Any future lever gun I get will 100% be getting one of these.

Easy install and great function. Only issue was the provided punch wasn’t hardened and bent like a wet noodle. But the actual part is great.

Marlin 1894 Lever Loop Straight Grip Stock | Medium Loop (black)
I recently discovered Ranger Point Precision aftermarket parts for the Marlin 1894. The medium loop was exactly what I had been looking for. The shim kit gets 5 stars for taking out the slop that is common with the 1894. This will not be the only one I purchase. As funds become available I will be ordering additional kits.
