Perfect fit! I was worried this would be a sloppy fit. Its not! Fits exactly as it should. Functions exactly as it should, and it looks sharp on any lever gun. I bought this because I almost had a negligent discharge last deer season letting the hammer down with gloves on. This will prevent that for sure. It has very deep grooves and will not slip off your thumb. This is a absolute must upgrade even over the factory one.

Marlin Rossi 95 Lever Rifle Peep Sight Brass
Sorry I was slow in writing this. Finally got around to installing the new front sight to go with the peep sight. These are excellent sights. Mounted on an 1895 16 , 45-70 Guide Gun. They immediately solved my problem with elevation control caused by sight picture and windage was dead on, without adjustment. Sights are quick to the eye, allow for easy target acquisition and positive alignment. They stand up well to heavy recoil using moderate, lever action loads.

Had the trigger, follower, and takedown lever screw upgrade for a few months now.
Went through about a case of 38spl and few boxes of 357 over past few months.
No issues with the upgrade parts, trigger seems even smoother now.
I definitely recommend the takedown screw, which makes a world of a difference when field stripping to clean the bolt. Its inexpensive and easy to install too.

Very frustrated initially with new 1894 Cowboy LTD .44. Beautiful rifle; jam-o-matic. Noticeably less hitchy after RP extractor installed. However, action remained pushy and haphazard until I filed lever to retard shell carrier rise so that bolt face contacts rim instead of ejector hitting it first. Keith bullet fed only after generously chamfering sharp chamber throat. Rifle now performs as it should have off the shelf.

Couldn't be happier - the 0.125" aperture is just about perfect for my eyes, and works with the Marlin stock factory front sight (unlike competing products). Using a variety of 158gr .357 loads, the sight (for MY rifle - YMMV) at its lowest setting is zeroed at about 145 yds.
As for the Medium Loop Lever - it was an easy drop-in replacement, and feels great and slick to operate compared to the stock Marlin Loop. When installing, I just used a filed down brad nail as a punch to remove the Finger Lever Plunger Pin from the Marlin Loop.
