The finger loop on the Marlin 1894 is so small that I found it difficult to use. The Ranger Point medium loop lever made all the difference. Perfect fit and so smooth in use. I will be purchasing more of these levers for my other lever guns. Fantastic product.

My stock ejector stopped ejecting the hot 357s, I put this little guy in and it has been working perfectly. I have only ran about 50 through it but they would not have ejected before and ran flawlessly now. They did initially ship me the wrong setup, but they sent a prepaid return label and promptly sent the correct ejector.

I installed the RPP extractor in my Marlin 1894 CBC which I use for cowboy action shooting. The design appears to be superior to the OEM part. Since it works with a light coil spring, it makes feeding and extraction better. It glides over the case rim on feeding, and has a positive grab on extraction. No slipping off the case rim, or failure to extract.

Loading gate is way better. Ill admit I was skeptical while installing it. However once back together loading those 357s are how I always imagined it should feel. Smooth & easy . So much better than stock. If I had to do it again, I would in a heartbeat.

I decided to try the RPP trigger in my 1894 CBC that I use for cowboy action shooting. The customer service was great! The trigger was easy to install, and my lever safety still works with this part. The trigger is not as sharp as it appears in the picture, so no alterations were needed. I ordered the reduced power hammer spring, but did not use it. The light spring I had was better. The trigger was an improvement, nice feel, lighter pull, and crisp break. Its nice to see that someone is making quality upgrades for the Marlin 1894.

Installation was easy, the cloverleaf peep sight disappears at 50 yards, but the rear cover fiber optic dots remain, which helps with alignment. Will have to file down front sight dovetail base to raise point of impact as rear sight raised to max already, but to be expected

On Wednesday, when I took the A2 to the range, I got to try out two products by Ranger Point Precision. The first, is quite obvious, which is the brass weight. The second is their reduced power magazine release spring. I didnt think the brass weight would make such a difference, but it actually did! I could run the plate rack much smoother and faster. The magazine release spring is not really necessary unless you have small hands like me. Thanks to it, I can now release the mag without having to adjust my hand position. Makes for much smoother mag changes, with much less fumbling. If you have big hands, you probably dont need it. Makes support hand reloads easier too. Thanks Case Cook, TNSTEYR for the heads up on these.

Read the reviews and chosoe this over the other big loop lever. Dropped in fine, no fitting required. Matches the Marlin blue finish. Shot a big bore optional cowboy match with the rifle, worked great, no busted knuckles like I got with the factory lever! Buy the plunger, spring, and pin to install on this (Brownells has them too). You will thank yourself for not having to take them off the old lever.
