I purchased this stock to replace the original stock on my Marlin .444. It seems to be well made. The only issue I had was the lever will not go into the stock recess. Had to die grind about 3/8 worth of material on the stock to get it to clear. other than that Im impressed.

I would’ve given a five star rating but while the Dovetail fit perfectly the front mounting hole with the fore grip strap was about an 1/8 inch off so I had to do a little fancy drilling to make it fit. If the front hole on the rail was elongated it would’ve fit perfectly. Overall extremely happy with the product.

I ordered this product out of frustration with my Remington Marlin. It was so bad it was their customer service who sent me what I needed to have it sent back to the factory, the factory re-barreled it and performed a slew of other replacements including a new magazine tube and upon its return still wouldn’t feed to my standards. Every 10 or so it would hang up. So, I installed the new RPP extractor and also replaced the follower with the brass one from bear mercantile and voila she feeds reliably and extraction is swift and consistent and controlled. Spits the brass forward and clear of the chamber every time and lo and behold in the same landing zone so easy pickup of the brass. Yes Thank You to Ranger Point Precision seriously guys and gals, they make a great product, and the video made it a quick fix. Went in the right way the first time. Thank you so much for great products! Heard about you from word of mouth, plan to spread the word at my rifle club as well.

Just installed my trigger kit on my 45/70. I had to file very slightly to get it to fit, it would not slide into place in order to slide pin back into place, once it did it hung up. After a very minor amount of filing it fit correctly. I wish it had fit right out of the box,, but i didn't have time to send back. I will say it feels great, definitely an improvement!

It does the job. I felt that for paying $34 for a piece of steel smaller than a penny that it should have fit tighter and had a more seem less fit. It does fill the opening made by the sight being removed but I do not think the fit and finish was worth $34. Maybe $5 would be a more appropriate price.

I just want to let you know that the profile on the loading gate is perfect! I was having problems loading my sons Marlin 336 .35 Rem and replaced the factory loading gate with the RPP Loading Gate and that really cured the loading problems with the rifle! This is a 2018 manufactured Marlin. The underside of your loading gate has the correct angle to push down and move the round in the magazine tube up smoothly! I was going to send the rifle back if this didn't work but the RPP Loading Gate came through in flying colors! It has the same profile as the older Marlin 336's and works in the new rifles perfectly! I already have 3 of them!Thanks again!
