The opportunity to work with other students all preparing for the same exam was both reassuring and useful, as they had already learnt the same topics, but each had different ways of explaining them, helping reinforce my knowledge. Having a booklet full of questions by topic is very helpful for revision.

The course was situated in an easily reachable location and led by highly competent teachers who made sure no student was left without a clear understanding of the PAT topics. The course was well organised so that there was enough staff to make sure everyone that asked for help, yet not to many to make it crowded. Overall super good.

The course was a real eye opener to the difficulty of the exam. Group work helped us exchange knowledge and get the correct answers. The tutor explained the questions and topics covered nicely. Sometimes the tutor said he would come back to explain things to me, but he didn't manage to.

I found that the tutors were very approachable and good at explaining things clearly. There were also quite a few tutors which meant you could get a lot of one to one attention. I also liked how we were encouraged to discuss the problem among ourselves and following, the tutor would go through it and so we would learn in two different ways.

The presenter was very knowledgeable, explaining difficult content in a way that made it more understandable. The size of the group also allowed for group work, without limiting any 1-1 opportunities. The topics covered were especially useful if you're applying for the PAT.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It consolidated my physics knowledge along with make me tackle different unknown questions. Difficult concepts about Kinematics and Dynamics were clearly explained. I learned new formulae for astrophysics that I had never before seen.

The structure of the course was clear and focused. It covered some of the topics that are in the PAT but that are not covered at a level. I definately feel more prepared for the exam after completing this course.
