Great product. So glad to be a part of the team

Incredible sound

I used the thinner MLV sheeting under the carpet in my front floor area for both the driver and passenger and I immediately noticed a reduction in vibration and noise from the engine and road. The product is easy to cut for a heavy material and while I did not secure it will likely not move around. Very happy with the noise and vibration reduction from this product.

I was looking for something to put behind my dart boards to quiet the impact and this has worked very well!

The material came quickly and was just as expected. I used it to cut down on fan noise in a newly-installed central heat pump. Objectively, it lowered SPL by 2 dB, but the overall impression is feels quieter than that.

This cotton fiber batting material was a much appreciated cleaner option than using fiberglass batting. No itch, no mask, and easy friction fit. The batts fit in-between ours studs easily and stayed in place without glue or staples. Strongly recommend.

When we built our church we knew our acoustics was bad (echo) and flutter (echo) but when Second Skin took down our information on our Sanctuary and modeled it in EASE software and showed us we have a
5 + second echo at 500Hz we knew we had a big problem. They proposed a solution with EchoVerb and PolyZorbe and showed us what the results would be if we installed the materials. The results are amazing! We gained complete control over the sound in the room and got our echo problem down to 1 second and our speech intelligibility is excellent. I would recommend them for your next job!

I have bought several linear feet of this to use as sound absorber. Since it comes 5' wide, you can easily cut out large pieces the size of your doors or spanning the width of your vehicle. It's an amazing acoustic insulation, thermal insulator , deals well with humidity, does not produce dust, can be cut easily, weighs almost nothing, it has absolutely everything you need. Keep any small leftover pieces to stuff in random voids and behind trim pieces. It can also be used at a decoupler. I only wish it came worth the optional adhesive that the megazorbe comes with.

Easy to install and worked great.

i haven't finished the install, so I cannot speak on effectiveness. But, the product arrived quickly, it is soft and fairly easy to work with. I did find it difficult to cut (even with fabric shears). I am hopeful it has been worth the time and money.

Easy to apply. Versatile, can add thickener and control the number of layers.

Used this product under new headliner. Noticeably quieter in vehicle.

I’ll admit, I was hesitant at first with purchasing this product but I have not regretted it since. It went on smooth with a 2” paint brush and was thick enough to hold on the vertical surface of the firewall. It cured to an even, smooth finish and looks like it will perform well when I put the engine back in. It makes the engine compartment look a lot better and I’m confident it will help prevent heat transfer to the cab. I’m very happy with it.

Very satisfied with my purchase. This is the best sound deadner on the market hands down!

These products worked out great and helped our sound treatment needs greatly! They look great on our walls too!
I experimented with a couple options of how to install them, and they stuck into place perfectly and easily with some Liquid Nails.
Thank you Second Skin for being so helpful, affordable and professional and helping us with our needs!

Very fast shipment. It did reduce some of the audible noise from the refrigerator but not all. I would say a 20% reduction in noise. Second Skin contacted me before processing order to let me know what noise reduction to expect due to the low frequency level of the refrigerator. Very happy. It worked as they said. Even a little quieter fridge is good in a house open floor plan!

Used those panels to place under my 100lbs outdoor subwoofers to protect them from moisture underneath , they held the weight and provided excellent protection from below

I have not installed my Melamine Foam yet because i am doing prepwork prior to install.

I teach yoga in a studio where the HVAC return was consistently loud enough that it interfered with teaching. The noise wasn’t just in the background, it overlapped right in the vocal range, so I had to project my voice just to be heard. I decided to try EcoVerb. I bought the roll, cut the pieces myself using a utility knife and a framing square, and installed three custom panels inside the return duct.

I measured before and after using the Acoustiblok RTA app. The overall dB level stayed almost the same, but the important change was in the frequency curve. The buildup in the vocal range dropped, and it immediately created space for the teacher’s voice. The first class after installation, I could feel the difference. Speaking felt natural again. Students didn’t have to work to hear. The whole room felt less tiring.

I am genuinely impressed with how effective this was, especially considering how simple the install was. This made a real, practical improvement in the teaching environment.

I dealt with Eric from the company and he spent time helping me find the right product, and helped me through understanding how to approach installing the product. Great service!

The B stock is a super good deal. One of them was cut slightly off and the other had a small hole but I don’t need perfection especially since nobody is going to see it. Definitely recommend! Great for car interior especially around the transmission tunnel 👌🏽
