Sample Pack - 9 Automotive Products
The sample pack for me was a great way to get a chance to feel the difference in materials, so that I could learn what would work best for my application. Currently elbows deep in this forever-project of getting my 2016 Challenger as soundproof as possible. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, and I lived on a liquid diet in county jail with my jaw wired shut for 8 weeks, just to give an example of other hard things I've been through.

BlocknZorbe™ Multi-Purpose Sound Panels
My AC unit is on the other side of my living room wall where my sofa sits to watch TV. The AC was noisy but now with the new second skin product it is so much better. I am just loving it.

Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
I used spectrum on my 74 VW Beetle. I brushed it on floor pan inside door panels and back side panels. It was very easy to use and not really messy. Good stuff.

B-Stock: Luxury Liner Pro – 2' x 4.5' x 3/8" (2 Sheets, 18 Sq Ft) — Save 35%
This stuff is high quality. I couldn’t really tell what was wrong with it to be honest. Looking forward to incorporating it into a project that needs serious soundproofing. Almost am scared to mess us this material.

Damplifier™ Butyl Sealant Tape
This stuff is the perfect sealant for in-between tight spaces to make them air/water tight. No more messy construction sealant from the hardware store for me. My direct purpose is a car audio build and this butyl tape gets where I need it to and seals up quick, easy, and mess free. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Spectrum™ Sound Deadening Spray Kits
Just applied Spectrum this weekend. The prep work is key to a quality job. As for applying the product 80 psi at the gun works well. I have a 5 hp 25 gallon compressor it had no problem keeping up.
I haven’t had the vehicle on the highway yet but tap testing the panel has a significant flat sound deadening.

Trunk Sound Deadening Package
I used a trunk kit to decrease the noise from the hatch area of a 2021 Honda CRV. There was a substantial reduction in noise. I am going to use double sided tape, as suggested, to fasten the top layer. I was hoping for a greater reduction in noise, but the problem may be the areas that could not be padded. The work was done by a handyman that I have used for many years. He was careful and followed the directions.
I was able to add padding to the spare tire well by simply removing the spare tire and carefully living out a thin felt mat. Insulating the wheel well humps would have required removing and replacing a very large plastic cover running from the middle of the rear door to the floor of the hatch area. I think this should be done by a pro! Using the small trunk kit was a cost effective way for an amateur to reduce the noise in a CRV.

Thanks for the review. When doing just the rear area (trunk/cargo) make sure to do over the wheel well humps in complete coverage with the Luxury Liner Pro layer along with the full floor area for best benefits. SUV cargo areas usually need a little more material than the Small Trunk Kit offers (18 sqft). More like 30-36 sqft of material needed.

Great product. All the sheets were identical thickness but one,, however that one came in hand in a place with tighter trim panel clearance. The product made a substantial difference in the cabin environment. It is much easier to talk. The radio volume is turned down considerably. My sensitive older ears are so much happier and pain free.

I wanted to see the thickness of the sound deadening to see which one i should go with. After testing a small spot on my side mirror that was rattling, i could tell the 2mm would be best. It completely took away the rattle!

BlocknZorbe™ Multi-Purpose Sound Panels
Used the BlocknZorbe for a pool pump cover to reduce the noise (complaining neighbor) and it worked like a champ! Measured the before and after noise level and it dropped by 12 dB, which is amazing. I'd like to also say the customer service was excellent beforehand - answering questions and making sure i was getting the right stuff. The material is very easy to work with and cut to the proper sizes, and it's extremely easy to install with screws (mounted to plywood and 2x4s). Great product, highly recommend.

PolyZorbe™ Polyester Acoustic Panels
The PolyZorbe panels improved the speech intelligibility and reduced noise in our church sanctuary. It is a beautiful old building with a high cathedral ceiling made of tongue and groove wood. But all those hard surfaces made for a harsh sound, especially when the drummer hit the snare a little hard.
The panels behind the drums absorb the sound from the drums AND the reflected sound from the drum cage. The panels on the back wall eliminated a long echo/harsh reverb that the room had, and the panels on the side wall eliminate a short ping pong echo. And the panels blend right into the building, hardly noticeable at all, unless you are looking for them!
Now I am on to the next room. Thanks Second Skin!
