Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
Even after applying 5 layers of it, the result is still not as effective as butyl sound mats. Don’t waste your time and money for this. Install the butyl mat if you want reduced noise and vibrations on your car.

Redi, we've called and emailed you to discuss the project more. When applied at (3) 1mm layers it is tested and proven to outperform butyl sheets at vibration control.
The only thing we can think of is that the Spectrum product does cure over 7 days. The product performance increases significantly between initial application and the 48 hour mark and then continues to get better until completely cured. We will continue to try to get in touch!

Boat Engine Compartment Insulation Package
The product was very well explained and suited for my application. I used it on a rebuild of a 22' Sea Nymph I/O engine cover box. The materials went on as advertised and the boat is very quiet with the new cover box.

Mega Block ™ - Hydrophobic Foam Heat Shield
Very effective at reducing heat coming through the firewall of my Super Seven. My only minor complaint is that the adhesive sometimes stuck to the backing, especially on the edges and pulled away from the Mega Block itself. Used this in conjunction with Thermal Block. Highly recommended.

Yep, the Mega Block is very sticky. To avoid separation on edge and sticking to your fingers check out this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJDfDLnn3ng

OverKill™ Closed Cell Foam - 1/8"
Works great. Perfect for plastic on plastic such as a glove box with worn out rubber stoppers. Or a center console lid.

Very nice. Would have sprayed better if my compressor could keep up with the 80psi. Was very easy to use.

Thermal Block™ - Heat Shield
Works great and the adhesive is very strong. Used in conjunction with Megablock. Also used to wrap hard brake lines in engine compartment.

Mega Zorbe Pro™ - Hydrophobic Melamine Foam Panels
Mega zorbe pro fit perfectly in the four doors of my Excursion. Usual trimming but it really controlled outside noise; cars passing, Highway noise, etc. I used it over Kilmatt.

Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
Super happy, sprayed all 5 gallons using the gun they sell and my big compressor went on like a dream. 51 Chevy pick up cab, all four fenders plus wheel tubs and doors. Total rust free after all my sheet metal work, laid down Eastwood Platinum rust encapsulator night one, Eastwood seam sealer night two then the Second Skin one coat each night next four nights total of 5mm thick. Dead thump on panels now. Can’t wait to enjoy sound and thermal improvements over other hot rods I’ve built. Done traditional mats, jute etc and this is so much easier and better. I’ll never go back, I’m a Second Skin spray on man here on out. I made a video but couldn’t figure how to attach.

Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
Very easy to use, I brushed it on. Would recommend this product to quiet the floor board and wheel wells, quite a noticeable difference. Then add luxury liner pro on top . I am very happy to see that my ac works down here in Florida during the summer.

FireWall™ Thermal Insulation Coating
Turn your van into an ice box in the summer heat. While it isn’t quite that good I have experienced two big benefits from Firewall. The first relates to surface temperature drop. I used a laser temp gauge to measure the surface temp of roof top metal on my Promaster. Areas where I applied Firewall were around 10º F less than areas where I hadn’t applied it. But the biggest noticeable difference was in how much less radiant heat I could feel approx 12” away from the surface.
The other benefit I had was an additional amount of sound deadening when applied in combination with Spectra spray on sound deadening paint from Second Skin. The difference driving around on the highway in the summer sun is dramatic - much cooler and quieter. A+ products

Pretty straightforward installation. I was able to save the old foam sound deadening and make a pattern from that. I can carry on a conversation in my boat now!

Mega Zorbe™ - Hydrophobic Melamine Foam
I chose Mega Zorbe to help reduce the amount of noise put out by our gasoline golf cart engine. It was easy to cut-to-spec and install. On the underside of the seat installation was done with staples into the plywood structure and two cutouts were easy to make with a razor blade to allow for moisture drainage. In the rear of the engine compartment installation was done by adhering Mega Zorbe to the plastic walls using double sided automotive adhesive tape. The installation of Mega Zorbe now allows riders to carry a conversation at a normal volume while underway.

CLEARANCE (Save 70%): PolyZorbe™ Vivid Hexagon Acoustic Panels
Worked great and looks amazing! I reached out to Second Skin to reduce the echoes in my home office. They replied with an email asking questions about the office. After replying, I got a full before/after room analysis and a quote for the suggested product. I selected the colors I wanted, and they arrived in 3 days. It was very easy to install them with LocTite Power Grab. Now my calls and videos sound more professional from my island home office. Thanks guys.
