Used to cover the seams of the Luxury Liner (MLV) from Second Skin, and sadly I didn't love this. It popped off in spots where it had been applied at difficult angles (e.g. around wheel wells). And even in some not-so-tricky spots it started coming away from the vinyl, so I was afraid to reach down under the bench of the van, hoping I wouldn't catch an edge on my hand because the edges seem sharp. In the end I was also bothered by the contrasting silver to the black vinyl, so I ended up replacing it with Gorilla brand black tape. Sorry guys!

It is always second skin for the win. Put them in my Yukon XL to tame the vibrations coming from a skar 15. Works like a charm.

So far so good. The Car’s cabin is definitely quieter now.. I’ll probably add some more on the tire done to completely silent any road noise coming from the tires.

Have used various deadener products fitting different budgets prior. And the damplifier pro has been the best ive used. Extremely easy to cut and apply. No smells, significant reduction in resonance. 13sqft did 100% of the outermost door skin on the front 2 doors of a 2015 4runner.

Our overland camper is built on a Fuso medium duty truck chassis. The cab-over configuration places the engine between the driver and passenger. As originally configured, the cab had no sound proofing or heat insulation, making for a loud and often very warm cab environment. I had a phone conversation with Second Skin and received some helpful suggestions to improve the situation.

I installed Damplifier Pro sound deadening mats on the floor of the cab, under the OEM vinyl flooring. Mega Block hydrophobic foam heat shield was installed under the cab, above the engine. I was concerned that the half-inch thick Mega Block would be difficult to install because the area was composed of complex shapes with many curves and several control cables to work around. It turned out that, working carefully, the Mega Block could be formed into the complex shapes reasonably efficiently. The adhesive on the back of the Mega Block sheets is extremely sticky, so I had to tactically plan to when remove the backing once I had the sheet mostly in place. Four sheets (16 sq-ft) was adequate to completely cover the underside of the engine compartment.

I am very happy with the results of the above installation. Excellent products and great support from Second Skin. Now I need to work on more sound insulation inside the cab.

The front wheel wells are immediately below the driver and passenger seats, resulting in considerable tire and road noise. Spectrum was applied to the front wheel wells using a paint brush. I applied four coats totally about 4 mm in thickness. Applying the Spectrum was straight forward and cleaning up with water was easy. For the two front wheel wells I used about one-third of the gallon of Spectrum.

I am very happy with the results of the above installation. Excellent products and great support from Second Skin. Now I need to work on more sound insulation inside the cab.

I used your damplifier then covered it with luxury liner on the back cab wall along with the floor of my 2016 duramax reg cab. I run a 5 inch straight pipe off of my compound turbo set up. By using both products I can control noise across a wide range of frequencies. On ward doing the doors and firewall.

Love these things! They are extremely effective.

We installed 2” multipurpose sound panels in four sections (28’ total) of our fence to attenuate the noise produced by our neighbors emergency generator that is located immediately on the other side of our fence. In addition to the panels; and we increased the height of the fence by 6”. We installed overlapping red cedar panels on the generator side of the fence so that there are no cracks that all the noise to pass through. Finally, we covered the sound panels on our side of the fence with a layer of red cedar pickets. The installers fit the panels between the framing members and had no trouble installing them. We can still hear the generator inside our bedroom, but the noise is now tolerable.

The soundproofing material that was on my Frankie stainless steel kitchen sink eventually came undone a couple of years ago. I just installed a new faucet with a sharper stream that makes the tinny echo of the sink more noticeable. My second skin kit arrived today. After some quick measuring and cutting, the installation was very quick and simple. The roller that comes with the kit helped a lot especially since I was attaching this from under the sink. The tinny echo is not noticeable now!

These inserts are outstanding! We were trying to keep sound from escaping this rehearsal space and they really did the trick. Very happy with them. Also, they were extremely easy to install. Plus, they're incredibly well made, including even their crating. This company cares a lot about quality.

Great soundproofing. I can now enjoy sitting in the back of our bowrider and still have a conversation

Excellent product and service....
I applied with a brush one coat sprayed two coats with the second skin spray gun all over about an 80% coverage of damperfier pro. I could notice a sizable difference from each layer to the next. I'm sold on Second Skin.

Vintage Step Vans are a bit famous for being noisy inside but second skin is taking care of that. Second skin is changing the step van stigma one van at a time.

I used this to wrap a noisy drain pipe and it worked!
