OverKill™ Closed Cell Foam - 1/8"
I'm a noob with car audio, but I joined a couple of Facebook groups to get educated on how to build my first high end system. After buying and installing the system myself, I was underwhelmed with a few aspects. I later found out it was due to shortcomings of my install. Two issues were the backwaves from my 6x9s and road noise inside my doors. The other issue was rattling of my door panels when I pumped up the volume. I asked for recommendations in the Facebook groups and hands down, people recommended Second Skin. I layered the inside of my doors with Mega Zorbe, and layered all of the insides of my door panels with Overkill to decouple. WOW!!! These products did an amazing job in fixing the issues. My ride feels luxurious now being so quiet. More important, my system sounds way better now because I was able to tune without resonance inside my doors and rattling panels. Thank you Second Skin! You definitely made a believer out of me and a new life long customer.

This application was on a 1200 CFM cyclone dust collector in my wood shop.
The results were great, better than expected.
I was able to reduce the panel transmission noise of the unit from 74db to 63db at a distance of 12 feet.
You canow carry on a normal conversation while standing next to the unit.
Great product.
I plan to do my new cargo van when I get it in the spring.

This is I believe my third vehicle using Second Skin Damplifier Pro. Goes on easy, stays put, and definitely makes a difference. Nice solid "thud" when giving it the "knock" test. Latest victim(s) are (2) 2016 Jeep Renegade's. Doors and spare tire location are done, and will probably be ordering more Damplifier, and add luxury liner to the lift gate.

I used this product to wrap around a water waste pipe from an apartment I built upstairs.
It was quite loud when the toilet was flushed.
This product has significantly reduced the sound. It took about 50 zip ties and a whole role of gorilla tape+ some creative thinking, but I'm very pleased with the outcome!

Excellent product. I used it between the crash bars and outer door skin to dampen vibration. I also used it on the plastic door panel around the panel clips and other parts where one plastic piece meets another. It’s easy to work with, doesn’t smell, and doesn’t make a mess.

Upon arrival I was excited to get this installed I opened box and discovered the adhesive is got to install had been crushed in shipping and spilled. I called and they quickly refunded the cost of the adhesive. I pulled two sheets to begin install, I cut them to fit and then went back to for the next sheets only to discover that the adhesive had leaked between the rest of the sheets. So my project has been postponed even further. I am sure the luxury liner works well but I am have given up and will just run with damplifier pro.

Not all CLD is the same. Some brands don't work that well. Some brands will melt in the heat and make a mess of your car's interior. Some brands work great and hold up well, but are really expensive. Damplifier Pro works great, holds up to the heat, and is reasonably priced!

CLD only works if it's stuck firmly to the panel. This wide roller helps make sure every square inch of CLD you use is doing it's job. To be honest, I was afraid it would break easily, but it's super-durable!
