PROS: I was a bit apprehensive about getting an embroidery machine, especially one that only does embroidery, but this did not disappoint. The embroidery is as best I can imagine for a single-needle, and it has options that has come in handy, such as tracing, so I can know where my pattern will land without worry and can easily make adjustments when necessary. I haven't had the issue with tension thus far that some state they have. I haven't used the WIFI yet, but am anxious to try making my own design. The extras that came with the item were nice (though price wise, you could probably easily buy better). The display is nice, not huge, but clear and easy to follow (once you get down all the icons, I wish there was text, as I had to stop to figure out what this and that meant as the icons aren't easy for a beginner to figure out.) It is a beautiful machine, great for beginners and I am sure I will use it for years to come.
CONS: I have found that it isn't quite happy about the needle going through the stabilizer on the bottom, the material, and then washable stabilizer on top, my second attempt and it broke the needle. I also have had quite a few issues with having to rethread multiple times, then flip my item over when it is complete and there is a nest of thread mess under it. I thought that the machine notified you when it was time to change the thread, it is great about listing the thread order, but the first time I used it, it just stopped when it was time to change, but I wasn't sure it was or there was an issue, it simply didn't say, so I tried and sure enough, I guess it just stops and you have to hope that is what it is stopping for. Using the hoop is NOT easy, the little metal latch on mine looks to be off about 1/4" from where it should be so it is very difficult to get it to "seat" and it also pops out now and then, which is not cool and ruined a shirt, as of course I had to walk away for a few seconds and that is when it decided to do it. I truly believe I spend more time trying to place the stabilizer on the back of the project, while trying to center the item to where the embroidery should be, then place the top wash away, all while it continues to shift while you are trying to get it into the hoop, then you must gather up your material in such a way it doesn't interfere with the sewing, using clips and such to prevent issue. I still haven't found where to set it to cut the jump stitches, a great feature it says it has, I'll need to look into that. Ohhhhh, and I don't know who at Brother decided that the thread cutter on the side of the machine should also double as where you lay your thread when you attempt to use the automatic threader, but it would seem they have never sewn before as that was a bad idea. The automatic threader is one of the features I love on my Brother sewing machine I have, but this one can work great one time and then not for 20 more times, seriously...? And, I haven't found it to work at all when you change thread during embroidering. The thread that came with the package was pretty, but the machine did not like the flimsy base of the thread and when using it would continually wrap up and break the thread (yes, I used the correct piece to place that comes with it).
BOTTOM LINE: I love the machine, yes, it has it's issues, but it is a single-needle machine doing a job that should be for a multi-needle. It comes with a nice display, it does what I need it to do, albeit, in an ackward, time consuming way, I love it has both the WIFI and USB, and can't wait to try those functions. It does a beautiful job after you work up a sweat trying to get everything on the hoop right. Keep extra needles, mine broke after just one job.
LAST, let's talk about the ARTSPIRE APP - If there was a more worthless app, I would be surprised. This has very, very little to offer in way of design, you are limited to move, resize, and sometimes a few colors. For instance, I tried to look for a football type design, they were absolutely atrocious and they should be ashamed to present us these horrible, 1930 designs. And, if you are looking to create your own designs, good luck, as this is not the place to do it, the stitches provided are what you get, period, and often what you would not want on a shirt. There are some that others do you can use, and some are alright, but very limited. I have the trial right now and I have heard you don't get all they offer with designs, but, hey, if you want me to pay for this in order to use it, then the trial should include what you offer or I am going to pass and move on to one that does. This is a terrible, not thought-out app that you must use to transfer wirelessly and honestly, Brother should be ashamed of themselves, this is an app a high-schooler could have come up with. I do sublimation, too, and there are few designs, and you can use your Cricut, there seems to be more designs of that, but to make users use this App, especially if you are going to offer auto-digitizing, you should have offered a better digitizing program and one where there are more editing options. Even the free app, Ember, (check it out), does a much better job, and here Brother is, saying, hey, you MUST use this app for WIFI, but it is as close to worthless as it can be, just shame, shame, shame on you for not providing an app for your thousands of purchasers of your machines to be able to use in the manner it should be, not just a gimmicky, disappointing app that looks like a child created it.

The service was great. There was a little hiccup with the tracking of the order but after speaking to customer service everything was straightened out. I love the new setup.

nice cups

Very light and flimsy. I am use to a more commercial piece it’s definitely for a home owner. Very light not sure how long it will last. And did not come with cable for my F2 Xtool. Not very happy

Overall Swing design helped me through the process. The only thing I didn't like is that the manufacturer delayed the shipping time and no one notified me, luckily I had been reaching out. The printer comes with very simple instructions but it was a little difficult to get it set up. Now that I got the hang of it, I love my machine and have no regrets on the purchase I made for my small business.

The powder melts and cures tremendously. Adhesion to garments has been the best we've had so far, and the hand is very soft after a second pressing. Thanks SWING!

So excited to get this machine at such a great price! I’m still learning how to use it but it has worked perfectly. I highly recommend Swing Design. I have been a customer of theirs for years for my own crafting journey but I have bought many craft machines, products and software as gifts for my friends and family!! They will always be my go to store!!
