It's been a great experience for me in Naples, I've stayed here for 5 weeks and it couldn`t be better.
My placement was in Castle Volturno, I had to take the train and the bus to go there every time, so I could explore the area at the same time I was going.
I Helped a basketball team, I have assisted the coach and I also played during the training sessions. I really enjoyed with the other players, they were very inclusive with me, this helped me to feel part of the team, they also helped me a lot with the italian lenguage, I learnt a lot with all of them.
I will come back in the future, Naples is a great city, as well as Italy is a great country, you have plenty of things to do here, I would recommend this experience to everyone.

I was really happy to have found Volunteer World. I feel like it has a good foundation and set up where it makes it easy for people like me to get an understanding and eventually sign up. I am nervous but excited to see what the trip turns out to be like.

A great range of projects, some of them very reasonably priced. I tried two projects the first one did not respond to my question about how to get to the project. I was a bit annoyed by Volunteer World sending daily messages urging me to apply , probably computer generated, but they did not answer my question either. The second project was completely different, they responded promptly with lots of helpful information. So I have booked with them.
