To be honest, being an HTPC box owner running Kodi on OpenElec it's probably more fitting to draw upon those factors as comparisons. And will admit very impressed with the solid build of the T8 (especially as it runs on OpenElec), and comparing to your standard T8 boxes I think this one blows the rest out of the water. Normally I create my own build, and having installed the Wookie build - wow, it's a little power horse. Very very impressed. One suggestion going forward is to maybe get a bit more RAM injected. Overall, I'd buy another of these, plus also recommend to others.

Great piece of kit My fourth Droidbox. Two in UK home two is Spanish holiday home. Excellent for UK TV in Spain via Film on TV. Loads of movies new and old. The TS8 plus apears to buffer a lot despite my 8meg speed. More so than the older cheaper IMX6 box.

I bought my first T8 back in August 2015 and from day one I've had nothing but praise for their products and support. They must be good for me to have just bought my third T8. A lot of other companies could learn a thing or two from the Droidbox after sales service, I had a slight software problem with my latest T8 s plus which was reported to them on a Monday, returned on Tuesday and by Friday was back with me working perfectly. Can't fault that.

Box made quite well , good idea to be able to add sata drive. Launcher could do with some improvements, cant see anyway of changing anything like other launchers . Some menus hard to see colours on buttons if they are active or not. Red light annoying if you are using in bedroom. Overhaul a good box with a few niggles, that hopefully will be ironed out with updates

I must say I was very dubious at first with the price being high but I have to admit it is worth every penny. I was previously using a cheap chinese android box, this use to crash and stall all the time and never buffer right in Kodi. This however works flawlessly and has a real quality feel and weight to it. I wish I had bought one sooner.

When supplied with the box only instructions were how to connect it, nothing on how to use it . It was having to make a phone call and go over it bit by bit managed to get it working.
