The only reason I giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the lack of a good bike specific owners manual. The manual is a general cover all bikes waste. M2S needs to create bike specific manuals that address what your individual bike does and how it works. Having to leaf through an outdated manual and/or wait for an email response is not customer friendly. As I am looking now for an ebike for my girlfriend, I am asking companies about the manual and using that as consideration before purchase!

Just got my bike this week. My only minor complaint is that my derailed rack and hanger were bent in shipping. I had a friend who is much more experienced re-straighten the derailer by bending it back into alignment by hand. Shifting into the lowest gear is not as smooth as it should be.

Solved my problem. I'm impressed with the quick support by the team at M2S Bikes and the concern they show to get me back on my bike in short order. Love my Kush Full Suspension and all the inquires I receive while riding. I recommend M2S Bikes to everyone I talk to.

It's sitting in the garage, still in the box - waiting for the World to return to some sense of normal. If you tell me that your company and its employees will do EVERYTHING they can to get rid of this insane man (and his crazy/greedy minions) who is our president, I will give your bike a 6 star rating. Better days are coming - and thank you for asking if I liked the bike. I will let you know when I unbox it and take it for a spin. I woke up to 8 inches of snow in my driveway this morning........... one of the ski areas in Colorado that was thankfully shut down by an intelligent (Democratic I might add) Governor. It is beautiful! Take good care of yourselves!

AS always, shipped quick and is an upgrade from the post I had. I had a failure of the bolt holding the seat. Otherwise, after 3 years the bike keeps chugging along.

First off I want to say, the people at M2S treat you like family and you will not find anybody that will treat you better than them. As for this bike, it's beautiful, it's great to look at in my man cave, it's beautiful, it's a real head-turner, runs like a beast, and is a great road bike, and that's it!
I hate to say this since the people at M2S are such great people but for there flagship model, 'this bike sucks! The shocks are a joke, so plan on replacing the entire suspension system on this bike if you want to take it off-road. If you are looking for a trail-worthy bike, its best to look elsewhere. I bought this bike because I felt bad returning the All Terrain Pro. Now, I have well over a grand in just the suspension on this bike. It's a good looking bike the best I have seen for the money, I give them that! Again, if you are looking for a bike to ride on any trails, this is not the bike for you. But if you have money to spend to upgrade the suspension, tires and other components, then buy it. You'll be glad you did!

I recently bought an All-Terrain Pro and when it arrived I was blown away with just how beautiful this bike was, the pictures give it no justice. I quickly got the bike put together, as I was eager to ride it. After assembly, I realized that the large frame was just too big for me. Saddened that I could not ride this bike, I quickly called M2S of my situation and found that they were eager to help me get the right size bike. The customer service is like no other you will find anywhere. They were quick to set me up with a new bike, and I thank all the wonderful people at M2S for it. Again, you will find no other service for your needs, like at M2S.

I love my bike. People give me long looks while I'm on it. I got the black one, so it looks a bit like a Philly police bike.
I took it out on a 10mi ride a few times, it's very smooth/fun on wider average to easy terrains and a bit tricky/scary on more advanced tighter paths/terrains. It used about 1/8th of the battery per 10mi trip. I get about 23 mph average on flat road when I'm pushing it hard (while it's on the highest peddle assist mode). Max I got it up to was 27 mph (while going down hill). In the video for this bike, the speed (28mph easy) is referring to another bike (the one w the rear motor) not this one.
It needs fenders if it's slightly wet/muddy out - it grips hard, which is great, but then it throws it everywhere (on me in this case).
It's tricky/scary ridding it in the hills on above average skill level or thinner paths. The 80 lb weight of the bike combined with it's large size limits it's ability to maneuver well. I will most likely use it on non advanced terrains.
Customer service is very good.
I'm a little worried about it's construction, although it seems solid at the moment. I was sent incorrect seat post and the speedometer sensor was assembled incorrectly. Customer service sent me what I needed and it was an easy fix.
It's a very smooth ride and it climbs like a mountain goat. Now that I had a few chances to test it out, I realize although it's good for fun, it's much more of a utilitarian bike and wish I got the one w/o rear suspension - that way I could have a solid rack on there and use it to travel to work.

Follow-up Review:
In a nutshell...
If you are like me you spent a lot of time researching your first eBike and you kept landing on M2S and realize they have really competitive products and prices and wonder if it's too good to be true. It's good and true. In a nutshell this bike is well built, rugged, and has all the torque you need. Baseline comparison I'm 5'11 a meaty 220 and would be classed as a strong advanced rider, I have over 100 miles on it since February in mostly flat urban/trail commuting. This bike can move my meat suit around no problem in that environment and any hill can be thrown at it. And what sets M2S apart is their power packages, they're battery is hefty with generous power on this model. With a 21 amp hour which at 48 volts is above 1,000 watt hours so that's just insane range on this bike.
BUT WHAT ABOUT RANGE MY DUDE? Tested new 16 amp hour battery (high grade quality) - It's Impressive!
Range as tested with my weight and and riding environment above, most importantly, what pedal assist I use (more detail for nerds on that below). Time spent equally split between assist level 3, and assist level 4. I achieved almost exactly 50 miles from full to 2 bars, so theoretically it could go to 60 - 65 miles in a commuter setting. Essentially, my commute is nearly five miles each way, Today is my third day to work, on the ride this morning there were three bars, at pedal assist level three all the way the bars didn't move. So one could say in a mostly flat commuter environment on pedal assist level three (more on that magic number later), one bar on the battery meter can represent 5-8ish miles of assist with fat tires inflated to 18 psi. Again I'm a solid 220 so if you are 180 lbs or 140 lbs this bike will take you easy 80 miles on pedal assist three with the 16 amp hour battery supplied with the bike.
The speed pedaling on assist level 3 is about 18-23 mph comfortably in the last two gears, level 4 will make it feel much less effort, level 5 like when you first get on a stationary bike before any resistance is applied...at 23 mph with fat tires. It's awesome.
SO WHAT ABOUT THE MID-DRIVE MOTOR? WHAT'S THAT LIKE? - This is a sliced bread type of thing...
It's tough, do you want a hub motor or a mid drive? This Mid-Drive is 350 watts the hub another model is 750 watts, more watts is better right?! It all depends what you want...I'll speak for the mid-drive as that's what I have...
The mid-drive has a lot of PROS for a person that wants the following things:
- The motor is right in the center of the bike which helps me power lift this 60 lbs bike up a stair case. Having that kind of weight in the back would make that much more challenging.
- The torque is immediate, this mid-drive gets you off the line and helps you ride those high gears and maintain speed like there's an angel possessing your legs.
- It's virtually silent, you'll hear the tread of the tires way more than you'll ever hear the motor which is a subtle thing on your perception. Because the motor is silently helping it gives you the sense YOU have more power rather than being assisted, it makes you feel like riding way more because it's so satisfying.
- You ride differently because the motor's torque is through the chain. I'm a total amateur on setting rear derailleurs. In fact, I'd never done it before this bike. Watched a Park Tools YouTube guide and i have this baby shifting like butter. This is important because city riding is more like a motorcycle, you go gear to gear. When you do this right on assist lvl 3 you feel just the slightest motor assist with each gear so that you are using the same physical output but going faster and faster. This bike is most responsive high and low end. I imagine their 1,000 watt model of this bike must be insanely fast and powerful if this 350 watt motor does what it does moving nearly 300 lbs around. God knows how awesome it'll be with the optional 27.5 wheel set package M2S offers, that's another advantage, of mid drive v hub is you can upgrade your wheel set. If you really wanted to put money into components over a $4,500 (minimum) Trek MTB eBike, this bike with carbon tubeless 27.5+ wheels and a high grade front fork this bike and their Ultra version would be a LOT of bike and bang for the buck piece meal.
WHAT'S THE RIDE LIKE?
It's a more rugged bike than elegant. The tires are huge, have a lot of rolling weight which lets you turn into turns like on a motorcycle, it's dope. But agile not so much. However, that weight sends this thing rolling strong and straight. The bike I have has no suspension fork because I plan to upgrade this how I want. The fat tires above 20 psi are not fun on bumps. With 17-18 psi the ride is okay, with a stem suspension and a seat post suspension that should be enough. This bike is a bit heavy for trail riding you'd want a meaty front fork for. I'd say this bike great for gravel, hilly single track, smooth trail and such. For serious single track with speed and need for mobility I have my full suspension Cannondale for that. With a little bit of suspension this bike will be a perfect commuter and off road adventure bike. Load it up with a tent, water, and food and get lost in the back country of Norther California is what I'll be using this for.
PEOPLE'S REACTIONS:
The best part of this bike is it's so good looking and beefy every time I ride it on trail people look and ask about it. Stoked to see it. In the city people look puzzled and impressed at the same time because the bike is a bike boy. It's like riding a Tonka Truck and all the other dudes wanna ride it lol. I'm happy with my bike and can't wait to take it all over the place long range.

Incredible value and the company M2S always answers the phone! Like many who are interested in buying their first ebike, I did an extended amount of research in comparing probably 50% of the EBikes that are currently for sale in early 2020. Overwhelming to say the least--I ended up finding an older review of an M2S bike on YouTube and followed the rabbit whole there after. So glad I did, after browsing their website I then called them to ask more follow up questions. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me with great detail. I ended up ordering an R500 and upon delivery/setup I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Great value, easy to assemble and it rides like a dream. Hands down better value vs other competitors in this space such as Radpower bikes for example. The pictures on the website for the R500 don't do it justice, it looks incredible in person. Acceleration via pedal assist is smooth and perfect. I typically ride it on 1 to try and maximize my workout and can go miles upon miles without burning myself out. I was missing a single screw upon setting up my new bike and called for a replacement. Zach was great on the phone and shipped me out a new replacement screw the same day. Again, great value, excellent customer service and a great product all around. This company deserves much more attention vs their main stream competitors!
