I am going to review my All Terrain Ultramax HT fatbike as well as the 27.5" wheelset... over 250 miles on the new bike now.
My background is mid 60's guy, 150 lbs, Leukemia survivor with seconday cancer and heart problems from chemo. I was a sponsored MTB racer with a lot of road and criterium racing thrown in 20 years ago. Very accustomed to getting new pro level equipment given to me to race each season.
First, the bike is a great value, excellent specs and the performance of the Ultramax motor is outstanding. The torque sensor works perfectly for me. I don't ever use throttle and have twisted it out of reach until I get a chance to remove it. My bike is primarily for exercise and recreation and I use it at PAS Eco 1 about 90% of the time and only bump it up to Eco 2 when I am very tired. The weak component in this rig is the front shock. It is very flexy and not up to the level of the rest of the bike. I would prefer a rigid fork over it if I could have a do over. Also would not get a fat bike or at least would have bought the 27.5" wheelset when I purchased it to save a $100 over the cost of buying it 2 weeks later like I did. For me, the fat bike was so that I can ride groomed winter trails, which is a blast and not 'legal' on 3" tires around here. It becomes a completely different bike with 3", 27.5" tires, lots more nimble and sure footed on the trails and totally more pleasant on the hard pack or pavement. I am seeing double the battery range as a bonus.
In sum, there is not a better value out there for this level of machine or the wheelset and I'm loving mine. Great customer service too. Highly recommended all around.

WD: 27.5+ Wheel Set Conversion Kit
Great upgrade to my Allterrain Ultramax HT Fatbike. The 4.5" tires are great for snow but totally suck for hard ground, imo. The 3" tires that come with the 27.5" wheelset are sooo much better when the trails aren't white that it's amazing. With these the bike really feels like a mountain bike that is nimble rather than a wallowing beast that it was. My fat tires will be put away until the coming winter and then I will enjoy them again in the snow. I am running these at 30 psi rather than the 4-5 psi on the fats and actually getting twice the range from my battery with these over the 4.5" tires. If it were 'legal' to use 3" tires on our groomed winter MTB trails I don't think there would be any reason to keep my fat wheelset.

This is the first electric bike I have ever had and I am thoroughly impressed. The bike came well packaged and was easy to assemble. The mount that holds the electronic display to the handle bars had been broken in transport however, so I sent an email to customer support and within a couple days I had a replacement part. I have had the bike for a little over two weeks now and have put over 150 miles on it. The back rack supports plenty of universal trunk bags which make it great for running errands around town. The fenders are wide and really quiet, I don't think I have heard them rattle even once and they also help keep you dry and clean. The 3" wide tires make for a stable ride at higher speed and help soak up some of the bumps if you ride on some rougher streets or off road, however I do plan on replacing the knobby off road tires with a tire that is a little more road focused in hopes of making the bike a little more efficient. The motor has plenty of power, I typically ride in pedal assist level 2 which I think is a real sweet spot for maintaining about 13-15mph and plenty of help going up hills but still makes you feel like you are doing some of the work. At that rate I have no trouble getting 40 miles off the battery without ever running it completely down. I will say that the bike might be a little heavy for some people but I have no trouble moving it around my garage especially if you lift from the back rack. Also the weight and wide tires make for a more challenging ride if you are in pedal assist level 0, especially if you are climbing hills. As long as the bike proves to be reliable for miles to come I will certainly be purchasing another one.

I am a 71 yr old and have Mountain biked in upstate NY from the early 1990’s mainly on a Trek 970 & Cannondale V2500.I had open heart surgery five years ago that slowed me down.I bought a Motobecane Boris X5 fat tire bike in 2017 , that rekindled my interest in Mountain biking again but I couldn’t go on the rides I did in my younger years. It is very hilly and woody up here.
The Ultra Fat Tire E bike has changed all that ! I can ride everywhere just like when I was in my 30’s ! This is not an exaggeration. This bike is awesome, I can climb any hill, any terrain . I rarely use the throttle mode , maybe at the end of a long ride nearing home covered in mud. The gearing is perfectly coupled with the two modes
ECO and Sport. The battery supports a 12 mile Mountain bike ride with long climbs. You can get 20 miles of road riding easily.
Thanks M2S, God Bless and stay safe.

I really liked the looks of it when I first unboxed it, quality bike. I just hit the trails with it for the first time a couple of days ago and I was pleasantly surprised with the power and the ride. It truly doesn't feel like a 70 pound bike. The seat is quite comfortable and I like the components, it shifts well and the brakes are outstanding. It even came with a taillight and a bell. All I changed was the pedals and added a handlebar bag and I was ready to go. I have to give credit to Old Diminion trucking company too, great delivery and super easy to work with . I would buy this bike again in a heartbeat !!! Thanks guys

I really like the bike, awesome machine. I have two minor issues. 1) cannot turn on lights and manual no use and 2) gears slip around 4-6 but otherwise work great. On the latter, manual is complicated to understand. I had sent email requesting help on both but no response.

Great bike works well. A couple of comments I will leave are that tires are noisy on pavement and every once and a while I get a unexpected thrust from the motor. Also when I star up the PAS level comes on at number 8 level for just a second or two. Also the PAS level control could be a bit a bit more sturdy. Other than that the overall quality is very good and the assembly is very easy as is the price point.

All Terrain Ultra HT
Bike: Ultra HT. Size: Medium. Road test load: about 200lbs. Bike riding experience: Beyond knowing how to ride a single gear street bike - none. Bike arrived without damage and was easy to put together. Only issue was the plastic insert between the front tire brake pads that must be removed before the front tire will mount. It's easy to remove, just wiggle it free. I'm still getting used to riding the bike but have been pushing it to test its capabilities. I bought the bike, not for riding down streets but for desert and mountain roads. Here's what I learned: On the street it runs great, the pedal assist mode and the thumb throttle really make riding a joy. I tested it yesterday to see how well it would climb a 20 degree paved road using only the thumb throttle from a dead stop; battery about 60% charge. It did well for about 200 ft but then started to bonk. It would not have made it to 300 ft. Would a fully charged battery have made a difference? Probably. Off road, the tires need to be deflated to less than 15lbs to maintain traction and control. Using low gears with pedal assist seems to work fine. I would like to push it in the Albuquerque foothills but the fear of flat tire due to goat heads (small sharp thorns that can flatten a tire in seconds) puts me off. The stock tires are a goat heads dream. I plan to go tubeless with a more durable tire within a few weeks for that very reason. New Mexico has too many sharp pointed plants. One thing I've noticed, using the bike in throttle only mode to go up hills really draws on the battery.

This is My 2nd Ebike . The first is a hub drive for My Wife . That is fine for Her . I wanted a bike that is suited for off road for hunting and torque enough to climb large hills . I wanted a mid drive for the climbing capabilities . I spent 3 months researching everything from converting My Sons dual suspension mountain bike to buying different brands. I chose M2S because of the quality of the components . I toured the Bafang plant in China on line and was VERY impressed. I am a retired Maintenance Man from a World class defence contractor in the US. I am very familiar of manufacturing environments. Now back to the bike, what a nice bike easy to assemble, Bars front wheel charge and Your are ready to go! I liked the way the bow arrived wrapped in shrink wrap to show signs of shipping abuse. The bikes components are high quality . Motor brakes tires rims derailleur shifter frame welds fork and one the most important items the battery. The bike preformed very well within the first 10 miles i rode it to the local airpark to checkout the climbing capabilities .It has a very steep runway ramp In low gear it climbed . right up ! Coming back down the brakes worked great ! Front fork works great shifts well and in eco mode lasts a long time !! In conclusion no problems well packed high quality well worth the money and most important someone answers the phone when You call every time. For not a brick and mortar company the feedback and customer service is important to Me !!! Thanks M2S Ted G. Maryland

Very happy with our purchase and a great company to work with. We actually ordered a large and a medium bike, one for me and one for my wife. When they arrived they were much bigger than we anticipated. I kept the medium bike which fit me perfectly and we sent the large one back and replaced it with a step through bike. Very satisfied and enjoying the rides.

WD: All Terrain FS Max
We recently retired and we purchased two All Terrain FS Max bikes, riding is 70% trails, 30% roads. We had some questions before we bought, and found M2S to be very responsive to all of our questions, they helped us to decide that a mid-drive motor bike would be the best choice for our riding.
Bikes were delivered about one week after placing our order, no issues, straight forward assembly, had both bikes ready to go in about an hour. One note, these bikes are substantial machines, we were impressed by the design and quality of the bikes and their components. Great value for the $$, I don’t think there is anything in the marketplace that compares with the value that the M2S bikes provide.
We live in northern NJ, a couple of miles off the Appalachian Trail. We are using these bikes to ride fairly steep hills (both road and trails) that we have never tried with our previous non-powered bikes. Pedal assist works great, the front/rear suspension really helps with trail riding, we can easily ride at speeds greater than 25 mph on the road with moderate levels of pedal assist.
Highly recommended!
