Cypress Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertops
It’s always scary to order something (especially lumber) online as you worry the quality or look will not match the expectation. The pieces I ordered arrived quickly, carefully packaged, and was ready to stain and seal. Ordering from Hardwood Lumber Company saved us quite a bit of money too in comparison to local businesses we initially tried to source the wood from.

Steamed Walnut Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
Fantastic company to order from! The site is easy to use and has many different configurations to choose from, not to mention it has a ton of info so even a newbie can easily find and order what they need. Shipping was quick and very reasonably priced and my countertop came very safely packaged, with the corners and edges well protected. Last of all, the piece itself is absolutely beautiful. It has plenty of beautiful grain lines and I love the color of it. I can't find any flaws with this topper. 10/10 Wood recommend Hardwood Lumber to anyone who needs a gorgeous wood topper for whatever project they're working on.

Love the countertop. I did have some splintering around the edges. I sanded them down and mounted the top. I treated the wood for a week and it looks beautiful.

Rustic Cherry Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
The countertop is fantastic. Excellent workmanship. The finishing on the edges and corners is perfect. Exactly what we hoped for. So much higher quality than the mass produced “name” brand stuff we made the mistake of trying first. Looks wonderful in our cabin’s kitchen and should last forever.

This is my second cutting board purchased from The Hardwood Lumber Company. Highly recommend them. Boards are beautiful, produced exactly according to my specs in short amount of time, communication with the company is excellent, and prices are very reasonable for custom-made boards.

Knotty Pine Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
the appearance was exceptional - however we have found that the countertops are very susceptible to dings if hit by objects, leaving a divot in the surface; we thought they would be much harder. Can you tell us the the brand and product number of the acrylic and stain etc. used on the tops in case we need to touch them up?
Response from Hardwood Lumber Company
Nov 17, 2023
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the countertops are susceptible to dings. We understand your concern and we would be happy to provide you with the brand and product number of the acrylic and stain used on the tops. Please contact us directly and we will provide you with the necessary information. Thank you for your feedback and we hope that you are satisfied with the overall appearance of the countertops.

Edge Grain Butcher Block Sample
The samples are fine. The rating is driven by a stated delivery time of about two weeks vs the actual delivery time of over five weeks. If they can't deliver samples in a timely manner, it makes me wonder what the experience would be for a countertop.
