Floating shelf as requested

Hard Maple Floating Shelf
I had requested the maple shelf to be primed for painting, which it was. However, the primer was not smooth. there were areas where it appeared-or it gave the impression perhaps, that it was packaged while still not quite dry, causing blemishes that needed to be sanded.
I'm not quite sure whether the condition I received it is normal. Hence the four star in lieu of five.

Hello,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Typically if the product is primed white it will not be completely smooth when shipped as it still needs to be painted over. If you give this a light sanding and paint it, it will turn out to be completely smooth.

Bought these as part of a full staircase and railing remodel. They turned out so nice along with matching risers and railings. Came sanded smooth to a 120 grit and just needed cleaned and finished and they were good to go.

Hard Maple Stair Tread
The quality of the wood is excellent. I’m glad I got just one stairstep so I could compare it to the existing wood floor that the stairs will be coming from and going to. I would like to have some feedback from the team about choosing a different color, but I don’t know how to send you a photo that compares the stairstep stair tread that I ordered with my current floor. Can someone contact me? Phone# 714.875.7689

Elm Shelves

Grey Elm Floating Shelf
Gray elm shelves were nicely cut and will work okay with the intended application. However the stain color looked more gray than brown. It will work fine, but doesn’t match well with the gray elm furniture we already have for the subject dining area
