A Beautiful Woodworking Product
When we learned that the countertop was 405 pounds my sons (4) and I were somwhat subdued, however, that included packaging. It was secured between two wooden skids and wrapped in padded paper within this frame as you might expect a piece of art. When unwrapped, there was a collective sigh among us at the beautiful workmanship in our 44” x 88” hickory countertop. To maintain such uniform quality in an edge cut assemblage was very impressive. Needless to say, but we are very happy with the counter. It is mounted over a center island with dimensions of 32” x 84”, with a 12” overhang supported by four 12” x12” brackets.

I had a relatively small order for butcher block backsplashes and a round table top which was to be cut into halves. After 7 weeks the order finally arrived, but the backsplashes were thicker than ordered and the table top had NOT been halved. I was really disappointed. BUT i called their customer service number and a thoughtful,warm, good listener lady named Maria apologized profusely for the mistakes and took careful watch over my replacement order for the next several weeks, always keeping me updated on the progress. When the second order finally arrived on Christmas eve eve--it was beautiful, perfect, wonderful. Though I didn't get to complete my creative coffee table in time for Christmas, it is now complete and I am most happy with my Hardwood lumber "work of art"!

I ordered Walnut Edge Grain butcherblock countertops unfinished. They were high quality. There was slight damage due to shipping on one of the plants but it was underside and HL gave me a discount. Great customer service. I was nervous about ordering these online without seeing them but they turned out great. I finished then with Zar satin oil based poly.
