For me at least tribuyrin was the catalyst, cutting out gluten, carbs, fruit, alcohol, all were steps in the right direction but not the suspicious nervous life I wanted, I still them avoid mostly but did not like the threat of being denied. Tributyrin gave me confidence to start enjoying cooking again along with as your Mother told you 'eat your veggies'!...and occasional soluble fiber. Most importantly figure it out yourself, the biggest lesson has been don't rely on others.

I have only been taking Tributryrin X for 16 days. The first night I took it; I was incredibly tired, and queasy. As I laid in bed I thought "maybe I made a mistake?" However 2 nights later I took it and was fine. The following week I increased the dose to everyday. This week 2x a day. On the other hand; I still have terrible smelling gas. My poor friend; we were hanging out the other day and I farted, accidentally of coarse. In turn he said to me " did you fart?"

This has been so helpful for me. Note for other users, be sure to go through the HCL challenge. If you are dealing with low acid, don’t just stuff with 2 capsules per meal and deal with how you feel. It took me tweaking, through the challenge, to really get it right. The change has been huge for me. I’m excited to eat now, no longer frustrated by the thought of eating because I knew I was in for pain and discomfort not only following eating and the digestion, but my bathroom visits, too.

I started slow (1 cap every other day) due to tendency for constipation, but then I increased the dose to 2 caps/day and I can see that my bloating is significantly reduced. I also have more energy. I have had gut problems for at least 30 years and have tried many supplements. I was already taking HCL/Pepsin from another company, so I didn't think changing to another HCL product was going to be any different. Well, I was wrong! The recommended dosage is 2 capsules, but because I am sensitive to supplement ingredients, I started with only I capsule and that did the trick. I have been plagued with slow motility issues, but I noticed this product has made a big difference. I tried 2 capsules, but I had very bad sinus congestion, so I assume I reacted to one of ingredients., so I went back to 1 capsule. I am currently taking HCL Guard, Holozyme and Tribytrin X with good results. I still have digestive issues, but I am much improved.
