I was using a different product, suggested by my former gastroenterologist. However, it just wasn't easing my symptoms when eating - excessive belching, early fullness, acid feeling, and flatulence. I researched an alternative and decided to try HCL Guard. I only have to take one pill prior to eating breakfast, lunch, & dinner to feel great. I do separate my meals into 6 smaller ones throughout the day but have found I don't need to take HCL Guard before each one, just the larger ones. I did try to take HCL Guard AFTER eating lunch the other day because I forgot to take it before, but found it didn't work for me. The food was blocking the pill in my small intestines so I had some bad burping of the pill ingredients. For me, it's imperative I take it BEFORE I eat. I'm on the smaller frame size, so I have found that one pill works perfectly for me. If it helps others, I have several gut conditions. I am also on a very strict Low Fodmap diet. I have been taking magnesium for years, and this is one of the best sources I've tried. I like that 1 capsule contains more than 100 mg since I typically need to take multiple caps daily to get enough of any brand. Also I find that it agrees with my body, and I'm doing well with Magnesium-HP.

An excellent digestive aid. As a Carnivore/Animal Based follower, I ingest a massive amount of protein with each meal. Supporting stomach acid is imperative when healing from illness, mold toxicity, and other aliments that prevent your body from producing enough acid to sufficiently break down the proteins you eat. I've been using Holozyme and Tributyrin-X for months now and really don't see myself ever NOT using them. They have soothed an irritated, sensitive digestive tract and have given me confidence with foods that have bothered me in the past. I eat animal based with red meat being the priority food. Holyzyme I take with and between meals adding Tributyrin to each meal. My bowel movements are much more regular and digestion is more complete.
Holoimmune I've been taking for a month. I haven't noticed any changes, improvements or otherwise taking one per day. That doesn't mean it's not doing anything or is ineffective, but they didn't help me immediately, noticeably like Holyzyme and Tributyrin-X.
