We have owned an excellent ProBreeze mains powered dehumidifier before so already trust the brand and were interested in seeing what this very different device would do. Unlike some silica based dehumidifiers - where you can dry out and thereby reactivate" the sachet in dry sunlight or a microwave (the latter of course re-releasing the moisture into your kitchen!) this product like most of those hanging plastic bags types for wardrobes rely on a single-use tablet which is destroyed in the process. It's that (large) tablet and that alone which removes the water from the air; the rest of the unit is basically a cage to hold the tablet and a bucket to catch the water. No tablet no work! None of that is a criticism. It's well designed looks good and works. Replacement tablets at £5 each work for "up to" 100 days but that of course depends on humidity levels; higher humidity shorter life. In the end it depends on what you need. Our back bedroom with damp walls and mould needed a cabin suitcase sized electric dehumidifier; this little unit would be overwhelmed. For a small airing cupboard wardrobe or toilet though this could be just what you need. So my advice is: research what you need. If it's something like this I can heartily recommend it."

This fan is amazing and very powerful

Bought to replace my previous one which failed after time but didn’t want a large one as it was for an understairs cupboard I saw this refurbished model at a good price and thought I would take a chance - although I know Pro-Breeze products are good, you never know with refurbished products. I needn’t have been concerned because it looks brand new, came in the original box with all the packaging you would expect feom a brand new model.
Am delighted and I love the changing lights, especially the red one to show you it needs emptying.

I saw a different brand similar item and have had it on my wish list for a while. This one is designed very similarly with a large tablet that absorbs the moisture, the water trickling down and the spout at the back for easy pouring once full. What's great about it is there's no electrical cost or noise. Haven't noticed a smell but it functions and is already doing its thing. I like the design it's simplicity at its best.£24.99 for this and 1 tablet then £9.99 for 2 refills. I think that is a fair price though I can see currently there's a deal on it so even better. I like that the tablet isn't coloured I've had machines in the past that had blue ones and it's messy. All in all a good experience.

We have a horrible damp problem in the bathroom so I wanted to see if this would work without putting in an extractor fan. It's a nice little unit fairly stylish and sturdy. Nothing to be plugged or charged as I was expecting so no noise or sound. The pod provided apparently lasts 100 days but can be used after as well. However I cannot find on the seller site where you would buy a replacement pod. Have just put it into place so will see how effective it is over time but for now it seems to function as it should. It's cheap for what it is but I'd really like to find out how much the replacement pods are. Will update shortly when I see some real results.

This ProBreeze dehumidifier looks so sleek. I can't believe it doesn't even need charging! It uses a large soap-shaped moisture absorber that lasts about 3 months. It's quite big but looks great in the bathroom. I'm wondering if you can buy refills to use in wardrobes or small spaces—such a clever and useful item!

My pantry opens off my kitchen and although it's generally dry I find that I need to use absorbant dehumidifiers to be sure it keeps dry for my food storage - particularly in wet weather or if I've been cooking something that generates a lot of steam. This smart blue-cased absorber is perfect for the job. It's as described and pictured. It doesn't take any power and looks good: much better than the disposable versions you can get from the supermarket. It's easy to take apart for loading or cleaning. It's ideal for my pantry or any smallish space that you might want to keep dry: I have something similar that I use in my car in winter and it's very effective. The listing and instructions say one of the blocks will last for 100 days after the block has fully dissolved although obviously that will depend on the moisure levels and it also says to empty and replace if the collection chamber shows as full. I've checked on the disposal and found that Calcium chloride (the chemical in the block that gets dissolved in the water the unit collects) can be safely poured away via the sink drain. It doesn't say what to do if the chamber is full but the block still not fully dissolved - and don't even know if that could happen - but I think the commonsense answer is to empty the water chamber and carry on using. I do think the unit is a bit expensive smart though it is at the current price of £18.99 for what is essentially a plastic tub; so I've docked a star for value. Replacement blocks (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pro-Breeze-Osmo%C2%AE-Dehumidifier-Condensation/dp/B0DRPGW94G) are £9.99 for two so after the initial purchase the ongoing costs will be about £15 per year if using it constantly. well packaged. clear instructions. Remote control a bonus. ease of use. Unfortunately due to the weather changes in Scotland we have not fully utilised the fan. Can't wait. I am sure it will be great.

This is a fab little dehumidifier that works very well for small spaces. We have ours in a damp kitchen cupboard and after only a few weeks I have a small puddle of water in the collector.I like that you can refill this, and also that the water that collects underneath the tablet will continue absorbing moisture from the air even after the tablet has fully disintegrated, so you can leave it until the tank is full.There is a handy window on the front of the unit so you can see when you need to empty it.The unit itself looks decent enough that I would be happy having it out in view. It would be good for small rooms such as bathrooms.

Brilliant it stucks up the moisture well and it is a good size the tablets is still going and it's been a month so far as well it collects a lot of water inside that turn to gel.

At the time of review I have no idea how much the refills cost. It is a hefty solid tablet that measures 10cm across so the cost of replacements is key to how useful and economic this is to use. There is a QR code on the back of the device and another on on the lid of the box which tell you to scan them for replacement ProBreeze tablets. Unfortunately it takes you to a website totally unrelated that seems to sell inflatable mattresses! I had expected a slightly more premium feel to the plastic body but its OK and overall it is quite an attractive and well designed dehumidifier. I can't give 4 stars without knowing what the refills cost as it is crucial to judging if this is value for money.

I must say I do quite like this new Pro Breeze Osmo dehumidifier. It works great, and the fact that it's big enough to hold a lot of moisture means I don't have to be emptying it all the time. Also like the fact that it does state that after the table gets dissolved, it is still works up to 100 days.My only reservation would be that the refill tablet is quite expensive to replace. The product seems to position itself against electric dehumidifiers, and I suppose if you have an outlet handy, an electric one might be a better alternative overall. However, for situations like many UK bathrooms where sockets aren't available, this Osmo is a great option, not least because it has a much better, slick design.
