Really good product does a good job b

The ProBreeze is hardly the cheap end of the market so I was expecting some good engineering. Unfortunately this is not the case. The unit is solid and weighty and quite nicely finished. It comes with a window pack so that you can seal out the outside world and expel hot air, it works but it's a bit of a mess, like something your grandma would run up on a sewing machine. the hose is quite a chunky affair and very stiff, this allows you to direct hot air out of the room without it flopping all over the place. The controls are simple and are outlined in the multi language instruction manual, more of that later! I installed it in my upstairs bedroom to the envy of my children; switch on is a real event, you are greeted with a fan that sounds much louder than it should, followed by the deep rumble of the A/C pump which resonated through the woodwork of the whole house. After messing around with the controls it became apparent that there are 2 fan speeds, one very fast and the other tornado speed, the sleep mode just seems to dim the display lights but does nothing to bring down the volume of the fan, there is no way that you could sleep with this unit switched on, even on just fan mode. I investigated the manual to see if I was missing something, but nothing came to save me from the rumble that could be heard downstairs to complaints from my wife who was trying to work in what can only be described as an irritating sound. While reading the manual it mentions about a water catchment tank that needs washing every 2 weeks along with filter that should be cleaned, I investigated and started to eagerly take removable panels off the back of the machine. Alas, no filters and no catchment tank, who wrote the manual, because they certainly have a different machine to myself. So now I have a bucket next to the unit to catch the water, surely this should be inside the machine and something that you just need to pull out and throw down the drain before refitting; really, a bucket next to the machine to catch the eternal dribbles is this actually acceptable?
Overall the machine does cool the room, but it would be impossible to sleep with it switched on unless you wore earplugs even in sleep mode so totally fails in a domestic environment and for that reason I suggest you look elsewhere for your bedroom cooling experience.

Used it daily since it arrived no problems so far works great

I needed help drying clothes indoors, this did not disappoint. I’ve only used it once, hung clothes on an airer at night in a room with dehumidifier and by morning they were dry. Settings and controls easy to use. Easy to empty water. Easy to move with castor wheels. Will help my laundry battles!

Nice lightweight item, easy to manoeuvre about. For some reason the instruction booklet doesn’t have the instructions, but you can get them online, which is only mentioned in small print, at the end of all the usual warnings. Personally I don’t find it cools the room temperature down, but it is a powerful fan. The ice packs are small and don’t really contribute to cooling, but I have larger ones that do help. It’s still worthwhile getting.

The only comment I have is the unit works well in temperatures below 25C but over 25C it struggles to make a difference in the room even if you use ice and cold water

Great little fan bought to replace a 20yr old one! Just a couple of niggles, the clip is extremely strong & therefore quite difficult to open especially if you have older hands & would have liked a slightly longer cable. Other than that it does the job.

Excellent product

It’s very loud, but not just in a loud constant hum kind of way, it has odd internal sounds, like jingling and dripping sounds at inconstant intervals. This means as a bedroom air con unit, it’s pretty rubbish. Sleep mode is supposed to be quieter but it’s not. Can’t sleep with it on so, not really of any use. Window kit is also fairly useless so we just have a big old tube hanging out of our open window.

If I could return it I probably would. I have nothing to compare it to so maybe this is just how they are!?

We have a few of these fans. They're very quiet on the lower speed settings and certainly no problem for night-time use.
The customer service was first-rate when we had a problem, five stars for that on its own. Recommended.

Shipped fast, works a charm. The only downside is that the app forces a chargeable subscription, although you can cancel it.

Purchased this recently. What a game changer when the temperature outside has been so hot! Keeps our rooms cool and sleeping is so much better. A little noisy but you switch off from it after a while. Good value for money!

Much better than a normal fan!

Great fan, perfect for these heat waves.
I have installed it in my log cabin. With the use of stainless steal pipe clamps I have been able to have it wall mounted, without any modifications to the fan.
This has benifited the air circulation and made it much cooler. On low speed it is exceptionally quiet, perfect for these heat waves night.
The only negative is that when switched of it returns to its default position, having to reposition each time it’s switched on.
Would have given 5 stars if it remembered its previous position

really pleased with fan, good price aswell.

work permanent nights found this great in the bedroom realy quite on setting 5
cools the room down letting me get some quality sleep

Fantastic product does exactly what he needs to do

With the resent high temperatures we've been having, like everyone else, I've been suffering. I have asthma and wake up with a bunged up nose regularly, so I decided to get a fan with air purifier. I looked long and hard and found this. Not only did it fit the bill, but can also be turned on and off using Alexa or Google. This is brilliant news for me as I have a tendency to forget things. I recently went away for a day and was able to turn it on for my poor melting cats. I would definitely recommend it.
