This is a good sized ice maker. I was expecting it to be huge, but really it's quite compact. Makes ice super quick and easy to clean afterwards. I sadly don't have enough room on my counter to have this out all the time. But if you don't, it's an ideal thing to get out in summer or for get togethers if you're making lots of drinks or cocktails etc. Great product.

I used this ice maker last weekend during a barbecue with 8 of my family and everyone was in awe of how quickly this machine provided us with ice. In a matter of minutes we had enough ice to make our drinks. I found it very economical because it only used 700 ml of water and it was enough for all of us. This machine is high quality, easy to use, makes ice quickly, easy to clean, good size and well worth the money. After using it, it was even easier to clean. To empty the machine, just open the lid underneath the machine and place a bowl to collect the remaining water. As we use filtered water, we made it. Cleaning: Just to be safe, I advise cleaning before using any product. Before using the machine, we wash it with detergent and water and also use the machine's cleaning function. It was easy and fast. Note: Manuel is very clear and has it in different languages.

Plus itÕs a biggish sized item to have out on your kitchen worktop if not using it a lot and space of a premium in your kitchen. Will be more interesting to see further down the line how itÕs coped with cleaning and if it gets any noisier É.

Catering for a gathering requires almost a military exercise in timing so that crammed drawers can be liberated of some content to fit in ice cube trays. It doesnÕt often work here when I am planning an event as the freezer holds necessary stocks of pre-made food, so this ice machine will prove very handy to keep everyone supplied with ice for drinks whilst the freezer is liberated from the strain. The ice maker is a mini freezer that converts a tank of water into a choice of two sizes of bullet-shaped ice. There isnÕt much preparation required to get started, just add water, press a button and wait. It also takes care of cleaning itself, recycles melt water and remaining water can be drained into the sink after use. It is handy to have ice on tap and without getting a massive American fridge freezer as the solution (or emptying out those crammed drawers). A small amount of worktop space is needed (about the same as my ice cream maker) and, if you hold onto the box, easy to store in a cupboard between uses. Not a necessity and it depends on frequency of need, but a handy item to have for ice on tap.

This is a great little machine. It's easy to set up. The manufacturer recommends allowing it to stand for 2 hours before its first use, but then it's a simple matter of filling the 2 litre reservoir with water and flicking a switch, and you have ice in 10 minutes. The ice "cubes" are actually bullet-shaped, and you can choose between large and small sizes, the latter being perfect for use in Chilly bottles, or other containers with narrow necks. The machine has limited space for storing ice, so once you've made a batch, it's best to remove them and put them in the freezer so that there's room to make more. It's not a silent maching, and there is some noise when it's operating, but this isn't too intrusive. It's quite a bit faster than the icemakers built into many freezers, and is just what you need for a party or when unexpected guests appear. Highly recommended!

Now the weather is more summery, this is proving invaluable in our drop-in centre. Our freezer would get through ice so quickly by demand and the problem is solved by this efficient machine. We'll recoup the cost by not having to buy ice in. Easy to use. Space is not a problem as this is larger than a domestic kitchen. Noise level not an issue either.

I took a massive punt on this as there were no customer reviews already but thought I would try it as it is from Pro Breeze and so thought should be decent. I bought this purely to have less noise than a traditional fan and on that it delivers. On setting 1, it produces a discernible light breeze but there is very little noise to go with it. (No fan is ever going to be silent so I think this is the best we are going to get.) On setting 2, much stronger with a little more noise, but equally OK. It goes up to 6, which is quite strong and quite a bit of noise, but less than a traditional fan on full tilt. At more than £500 less than the Dyson, it's never going to be the same build quality and it isn't, but it is OK. I have actually seen a Dyson one in action, and the noise levels seem the same to me. So, all in all, very happy with it.

I bought this fan to replace a larger pedestal fan that had a footprint that was too large for its new room. This tower fan has a much narrower base, and stands out far less. On its lowest setting, it is almost silent and you forget that it is on. It provides a gentle breeze at this setting and perfect for use at night. With 6 speeds in total, silent oscillation, 1-7hour timer, it is the perfect addition to any room without looking unsightly. I was slightly reluctant to spend close to £100 on a tower fan - this has been worth every penny and I could not recommend this product any more!
