My 6+ft Red D'Anjou Pear arrived in just 2 days and in a box that protected it completely. Triple wrapped, inner wrap soaked in water, plenty of silica gel, just everything super well done.
But, when I got the plant unpacked and unwrapped, disappointment... 2 of smaller limbs were broken - IMO before it was shipped. And the root ball was really sad - the main root was broken and there were just 2 wimpy strings of additional roots less than 6 inches long.
I potted it anyway, and the cambium on the main root might make it. I also used the silica gel to help with moisture retention in the pot. No sense in going through getting another, since I can't expect anything more.
IMO, the company and it's shipping/packing should get a 5. Sadly, I think the employees are simply not knowledgeable enough to do a better job of extracting the plant from the soil and preparing it for transplanting. Personally, I would have discarded this tree had I been an employee.

poorly packaging, I ordered 4 plants from different time, each time either the the branches snapped or main root got damaged. Paid for shipping but TyTy didnt package to protect the plant. If warranty is awarded, shipping cost os not return even TyTy was at fault due to poorly packaging.
