It was way too much fat on both rib plate..nothing like picture. I even try to trim it..still way too much I wouldn't be ordering that again

I flattened the chicken and seasoned with salt and pepper. As my oven is slightly off it took an hour to cook the chicken. Your chicken is delicious. I will buy it again

This was my first time using Heartstone, I ordered the ribs and was very pleased with them. Even with a one day delay in receiving them they were still frozen all in-part to their care in packing then. Looking forward to my next order.

Whatever you do to those cows keep doing it. The flavor of your beef in any cut is simply delicious and so very tender. Happily, I don’t think I can ever shop for meats at the super market ever again!

I can’t say enough about how delicious these oxtails are. I always buy oxtails from my local grocery store, and there is no comparison in taste. I’ve actually placed two orders for oxtails which is an indication of how satisfied I am. Give it a try!!

I've eaten lots of liver before but didn't think that this being 'grass fed' would've been much different but wow was I wrong. I don't have a way with words to describe taste but I'm definitely buying here and not my nearby supermarket. Also shout-out to Farmer Dan for reaching out to me when there was an issue with the system not telling me that I could only purchase a minimum amount that would qualify for shipping, and he was very cordial about it and worked with me by giving options on how to proceed. Will be recommending this place to friends and family

I been buying organ meat for my dog and myself and on my last order I added a filet mignon to try his meats. I don’t know if all the sudden I became a fry master, but best steak I have ever eaten.

Omg best tasting beef I’ve had in a long time! I’ve been buying local beef for at least the last two years but it all tasted kind of Gamey to me. But not this filet! It was tastey and tender just the way I like my steak. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you hearthstone farm.

To put it simply, Heartstone farm producst rock! I found them in the search for grassfed liver which was excellent and made a delicious pate. I also went ahead and scheduled their box deliveries as well. All products are wonderful and it is great to know that the animals are raised in a location that cares about the animals and environmental welfare. Farms like Heartstone are the perfect alternative to horrible factory farms that are destroying our land and producing inferior animal products. I am very happy to play a small part in correcting this by going straight to the farm with this service!

Amazing

I was raised eating some of the best meat from California Cattle’s. However, hands down, These are the best oxtails I have ever had there very well trim they’re not extremely greasy and they have an amazingly tender and succulent!

This was our fifth order from Farmer Dan and he continues to delight. The Porterhouse steaks are tender, juicy, and exploding with flavor. Highly recommend them. In this order we also got ribeyes and filet mignon which were awesome.

Once again, Heartstone Farm delivered! We recently experienced our first spatchcock chicken. I may never order a whole chicken any other way again. It roasted so evenly and quickly and there was crispy skin everywhere. I can't wait to try my next one on the grill.

The lamb cubes are amazing - marinate olive oil, lemon juice, Greek oregano, salt and pepper use grill pan inside or grill outside - simply delicious!

Many years ago, I stopped buying and eating chicken livers because of my concern of the quality of the meat. BUT, I decided to try livers from HEARTSTONE FARM because they are organic, and, the awesome quality of others meats that I have eaten from them. Plus the nutritional value of chicken livers. In my opinion, their chicken livers are supreme because there were absolutely NO FAT to trim, very little SINEW to cut off and the livers were meaty and firm. I strongly recommend HEARTSTONE FARM Chicken Livers.

What a delicious bargain! We ordered these expecting to make sheet pan fajitas, but we never got around to getting peppers. Yesterday we tossed them in a pan with olive oil and garlic, and they were tender and flavorful. We will definitely buy again.

Excellent Quality The chuck steak is very tender and flavorful. Baked two steaks low and slow in the oven in a covered casserole dish with two ounces of red wine, a tablespoon of organic Worcestershire sauce, splash of organic pomegranate vinegar, salt and pepper. Received my shipment today and though the beef tips and ox tails look amazing - very disappointed in the brisket that I received I would say that of the 4.5lb piece of meat I received over 2lbs is probably fat if not more. Considering the price I paid for it I would have expected a little more meat and less fat.

Great experience doing business with the Heartstone farm. The beef liver and kidney that I got were excellent. They shipped my order pretty fast in an echo-friendly package. I’m glad I can support responsible farmers like Dan. I strongly recommend everyone to do the same as we all need to come together to put an end to the despicable practice of factory farming.

We’ve been customers of Heartstone Farm for about a year and a half now. We started with a new customer box and were so impressed by the flavor and quality of the meat that we kept ordering. This past October we had our first 1/2 share delivered. This beef is so good, we have stopped purchasing beef from grocery stores, even butcher shops! Yesterday, we marinated and grilled the steak tips. The meat was flavorful, lean and perfect on the grill!! We just ordered our second share to be delivered in July!!! At the end of last summer, some friends brought some filet from a good butcher shop to our home and cooked them up on the grill. Although tender, the meat seemed flavorless to me in comparison to Heartstone! By the way, the chicken is fabulous, too. Love the spatchcock!!!

Had the Boneless Lamb Shoulder Roast for Easter dinner and it did not disappoint! I have bought my lamb from the local grocery chain for years, and will never go back. Love the fact that I'm eating food that's not pumped full of garbage and taste's so good.

The lamb chops were delicious! We decided it was time to break out the grill for the occasion and we were thrilled with the result. Our only complaint is that there was a really thick layer on fat on each chop, which was probably why they were so tender and tasty! Still, we would have liked a little more meat on each.

Cooking up chicken livers is only an occasional treat but when I make them, I like to use organic livers, which aren't always easy to find. The ones from Heartstone defrosted perfectly without becoming mushy and they cooked up firmly. They were delicious lightly seasoned with salt and pepper and sauteed with onions, mushrooms, and mixed bell peppers. A little crisp on the outside, tender and moist on the inside without crumbling. Will buy these again.

After trying several different cuts of meat from our first box from Heartstone farms my family will never go anywhere else for our beef! Tender, flavorfully, beautifully trimmed... fabulous.

My husband and I just had the Maine Pasture-Raised Loin Lamb Chops for dinner. OMG!!!!!! I seasoned them with garlic and onion powder, salt & pepper, dried mint from my garden, drizzled them with EVOO, and put them in the refrigerator to marinate for the day. Fried them up in a hot pan. They were so delicious! An absolute must-try!

I have already referred Heartstone Farms to three family members. I am very excited to try out the Monthly Subscription package I ordered to arrive in May.
