My family continues to rate the Heartstone Farms sirloin as one of their favorite cuts. Juicy, flavorful, and it does so well on the grill. My recent order had a sirloin that was so thick, it was almost like eating a filet mignon! We will always keep the sirloin on our must have list.

I now send a package of this AMAZING (and really, quite affordable) meat to my mother once a month. It makes me happy knowing she's eating good, healthy, small-farm meat instead of supermarket meat.

I’ve been a customer of Heartstone Farm for 4 years, I’ve purchased 1/4 Beef shares, Burger Boxes and Chicken, all were the best beef and chicken I’ve ever eaten. The lamb was by fair the best of all three. We ordered Loin Chops, Shoulder Chops and a full Rack. This was the best Lamb I have ever eaten, it is, arguably, the best of the best from Heartstone Farms. I would encourage everyone, even those who are not big Lamb fans, to try it out, you will not be disappointed.

These porterhouse steaks are juicy and tender. We season them with a little salt and pepper, sear them in a hot cast iron pan, and finish in the oven. They are delicious! We always have leftovers, and they are just as good a day later. Highly recommend.

As a new customer, I had no prior experience with Farmer Dan and his products. His "sampler" offer for new customers was all I could ask for. Not having "sampled" his product yet, I cannot speak to the quality of his meats, but they sure do look great, and I trust my brother-in-law's opinion of the quality. The order arrived on time and was well-packaged. Can't wait to taste them!

I purchased Grass Fed Filet Mignon for my Mother-In-Law’s 95th birthday. She hasn’t eaten any of them yet but the picture she sent blew me away. They are absolutely beautiful steaks! My next order will be for myself. What has really impressed me about this company is their customer service. The order ran a little late in delivery (which was beyond their control)but Farmer Dan personally called my Mother-In-Law to reassure her the steaks had been well packed but that if there was any problem to please let him know and he would immediately replace them or refund the purchase price. Now I don’t believe any of those other meat companies out there would have gone the extra mile like that. Hearthstone Farm definitely will have my business now and in the future.

Burgers have great flavor and consistency. Only complaint is packaging. 3 per pack is an odd number (literally), and they can’t be separated unless thawed out. Really wish they were packaged in 2 or 4

We grilled this and a ribeye last weekend and LOVED them! really can taste the difference!

Very difficult for us to get tongue and we do it has not been cured properly and it’s not cut properly. My husband is British and this is the best tongue he’s had since being in the US, we will be purchasing more. We also bought lame but have not tried it yet

The beef and steaks we are enjoying from Heartstone Farm are without a doubt the best beef we have had. The one thing I would point out is to follow the farms cooking instructions for time, doneness, and resting carefully. Even though we made an error originally the steak was fantastic. The shaved steak is amazing. The chuck roast was incredible and we made 8oz burgers to die for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I was amazed at how well my order was packaged.  It took 3 days to deliver after it shipped. I was a little worried about it arriving thawed.  The meat was rock solid frozen!  I love the environmental packaging. It’s about as green as possible. My family and I enjoyed some delicious Porterhouse steaks. The marbling was amazing for grass fed beef.  These were some of the most tender grass fed beef I’ve eaten. I didn’t marinate or cook sous vide.  3 minutes a side on a hot sear followed by a 8 minute rest. 2 steaks fed 4 of us!  Can’t wait to try the rest of the cuts in my order. Thanks Farmer Dan! Absolutely love Heartstone farm and am so thrilled they are now offering lamb. Sourcing pastured meat consistently is a continual, time consuming challenge and Heartstone farm checks all the boxes: local, pastured, humane, convenient. I’m staying tuned for pork because...bacon.

At first I was disappointed because I looked so small. My first thought was ‘ I’m a sucker. You paid way too much for this little bit.” But I changed my mind after I cooked it. It was small but really tender and tasty and had almost no fat. When I have bought tongue at the supermarket, I end up with cups of congealed fat and a mess. Sum total, it was very tasty and I am happy that it is healthy ( as healthy as animal protein can be) and my money goes to small farm with apparently safe and healthy treatment of both the workers and the animals. I will definitely buy Heartstone again.

I haven’t eaten beef liver in years and was on a quest to find some. I have been eating grass-fed beef, bison and etc for the past few years and couldn’t locate any grass-fed liver anywhere in town. I started researching on line and came across Heartstone Farm. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a go and ordered 5lbs of beef liver. It arrived practically still frozen. The top package was slightly thawed but still ice cold, so I decided to cook that package first. I sautéed it with onions, avocado oil and grass-fed butter. Best liver I’ve ever had and this won’t be my last purchase from Heartstone farms! Lobe the handwritten thank you note that came along with my order as well, very personal! Don’t hesitate with this farm!

Roasted the bones for 30 minutes, ate the marrow with a little sea salt (!!!) and then put into a crockpot with leftover veg for 24 hours. *BEST* bone broth I’ve ever made. My partner says he feels invincible drinking it!!

I learned about Heartstone Farm through a friend that lives in Maine. I decided that I would try it out even though I live in DC. WOW! This hanger steak was incredible. I seasoned it simply with salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary. I grilled it and served it with some fresh chimichurri, but it would have been excellent on its own. I also tried their ground beef and chicken. All amazing! It seems crazy to be shipping in meat from Maine, but it's so worth it. I can't wait to get the lamb I pre-ordered!

I love these burger so much. I grilled it on my indoor Aroma grill and topped with cheddar and warmed a pretzel bun. Sliced onions and a that was it. Unbelievable!!!!!!!! When it comes to burgers I like it pretty simple. They were juicy and flavorful. It is Sunday and i dry rubbed my brisket last night and it is in the crockpot right now and it smells unbelievable!!!!!!!! It has been cooking for four hours and hardly shrank at all. I love you farmer Dan. I like that I can order as little or as much as I want and since I live alone it makes a big difference. I will never order anywhere else

These porter house steaks are some of the best steaks I have tasted. I'm usually a Ribeye guy, but the porter house was just as good. I highly recommend it!!

My ordered arrived in record time and all products were completely frozen. Roasted the whole chicken for Sunday dinner with a little olive oil-seasoning rub. Moist and delicious. The chicken I have been getting from the Heartstone Farm is the best, I had not realized how different real chicken smells and tastes from the plumped up chicken in the grocery store. Once I started cooking the Heartstone chicken I realized it smelled like chicken I had as a kid, which was raised loose in the yard. I believe it would be called free range today. There were no antibiotics or other things added. It is so good to get back to real chicken. I give this the highest rating.

The grass fed liver I purchased from Farmer Dan must be a mistake! This tastes so AMAZING that I'm guessing he really grows this in some other GALAXY and transports it here via some secret rocket which goes undetected by NASA.
