These $99 bundles are quite a value. I ordered the steak burgers (which we love) and really packed the freezer with a beautiful stockpile of deliciousness. I will absolutely be on the lookout for the next bundle sale. Pro tip, when the bundles show up again pounce immediately. I’m still kicking myself over missing out on the roast beef bundle. Next time I won’t hesitate.

I ordered the Sampler box from Heartstone Farm. The package arrive within 2 to 3 days, opened the box the meat was still frozen solid. We left the t-bone out to thaw and grilled it up the next day. We both agreed that it was one of the best t-bones we've had in a long time. Ozzie

After waiting 5 day to roast and eat this leg of lamb I ordered from Heartstone Farm, I have to say it exceeded all expectations! These little beauties were delicious! I trimmed them a bit and sautéed them in olive oil into which I had stirred some anchovies, capers, and garlic. They were tender and not gamey at all.

We ordered this particular cut for our Easter dinner. I was pleased how the leg of lamb was shipped in dry ice and arrived on schedule. We roasted the leg using a recipe from Jerusalem that called aromatic herbs such as fennel, fenugreek, sumac, ginger, garlic, cilantro etc., and it roasted for 4 1/2 hours at 350 and it was wonderful! I plan to order again!

Definitely lamb, not mutton! It came packed in dry ice, and was still frozen. My husband put it in the refrigerator and it was still frozen on Sunday. It was delivered on Friday. It was yummy and I'll make shepherd's pie with the leftovers!

I sent the package of Oxtail & Osso Bucco to my church friend from Heartstone farm, she cooked right away and let me taste the dish. The Oxtail & Osso Bucco really tasted so good, the meat is so tender and my kitchen is smelling good. You can braise or make soup, they are fabulous due to 100% grass fed beef. While placing an order for chuck roast I was invited to add 5 lbs of ground beef. Since I frequently use ground beef, I added it to my order. It arrived in perfect condition, frozen solid. Each pound was individually wrapped . When I sautéed a portion of this ground beef I was pleased to see very little fat accumulating in my skillet. Finally the taste was delicious.

No complaints, delicious strips of frozen steak fajita meat. It's taken from skirt & flank steaks, and has that perfect fajita texture I've come to love from my travels around Mexico. I marinate mine in a mixture of blended chipotle adobo peppers, oregano, apple cider vinegar, and crushed garlic, and then drop on a sizzling pan with onions, broccoli, peppers, and more garlic. DELICIOUS. Texture is great. The strips are kinda long (6-8in long sometimes) so after defrosting, I tend to cut them in half.

It has good size, was well trimmed with just enough fat for flavor and has an smashing lamb flavor: not too strong, but not too weak. It is tender as lamb should be. Last week I used 2 lbs of North Star ground lamb in a shepherd's pie. Right out of the package the meat had that distinctive lamb aroma, but it was subtler and sweeter than store-bought. The finished pie was the best either of us have ever had. Often when I make a large casserole like this some of it goes in the freezer for a later date, but we happily worked our way through this one until it was gone. The other member of the household has commented repeatedly that the lamb seems to have "energized" him. I can't wait to try this product in my special lamb meatballs! Thank you!

We order a leg of lamb for Easter dinner 2021 .
