The best tasting beef EVER!!! Comes right on time and totally frozen! Farmer Dan and Heartstone are fantastic!!

Our family loves Heartstone beef! We recently started the monthly chicken and beef subscription box and it's so perfect for our busy lifestyles and satisfies our taste in variety! I’m saying 5 because we have loved our beef from Heartstone....but We just received the Family Grill Biox and won’t Be using until this weekend when the kids come home....burgers are awesome...Steaks this weekend....YUM!

We never bothered to use a meat thermometer before - so the results were always hit-or-miss. But when we invested in getting such high quality meat from Heartstone Farm we figured we should probably spend a few extra dollars to make sure it turned out right. It was definitely worth it. The thermometer is easy to read, can't beat the price, and it takes the guesswork out of getting perfectly cooked meat every time.

Recently reviewed some beef liver and ribeyes. The meat is absolutely superb and the lives is shockingly good. I really did not know that lives=r of this quality could exist.. No strong odor when cooking—=just excellent meat and the ribeyes are in a class by themselves—SUPERB!!

Have been ordering a quarter share for three years, and have enjoyed every cut! It’s great going right past the grocery store beef knowing the beef in my freezer is more tasty and 100% grass fed!

I have tried many suppliers for grass fed meat over the years. If Hearthstone Farm stays just like it is, I will definitely stay with them. The products are very high quality, thusly delicious. I looked up the location on the map and it is located in central Maine far from cities and their environmental issues. I have tried most of the cuts that they offer, and everything has been better than I could imagine. Just got my first quarter share. I haven't used much of it yet, but what I have used is consistent with the high quality I've been used to from them. The price was reasonable for what you get and I am secure in my food supply for months. The service is as good as the product. Farmer Dan is a real person. He delivered my share personally. I called the farm once. Don't remember what the issue was, but I got a machine and did not leave a message. Later that day, Farmer Dan called me back. He answered the question I had. He must have gotten my number from caller ID. I hadn't even left a message!!! He definitely cares about his business and his customers. Great products. Great service. I love doing business with Heartstone Farm.

Great product.. 14 Day dry aged burger patties from Hearstone Farm in Charleston Maine. I put in the fridge a day before to thaw the burgers. I got my BBQ grill going to about 350 degrees.. I sprayed the thawed burgers with avocado oil, springled the burgers with fresh ground pepper and sea salt.. I put them on the grill for 7 minutes first side and 5 minutes flipped. I then remove them to a plate and covered them with tinfoil for about 4 minutes. I used a good roll with sliced red onion, sliced roma tomatoes and crunchy lettuce with ketchup, Rayes mustard.. Yummy burgers. will buy again..

Timely delivery, white-glove service to the door! It was hot, so Dan actually didn't want to leave meat on the porch and was asking our neighbors if they could get a hold of us to make sure that meat gets inside quickly. The meat itself is really well packaged. Ground beef is in flat, thin rectangular packages that are super easy to stack in the freezer. Same for steaks and roasts. Taste is what we expected from good grass-fed beef. Really good! We got a 1/4 this year and will probably go for something similar next year.

The Maine Box arrived as promised and everything was still as packaged. We have used the Short Ribs and Beef Patties and both were excellent. This was our first order and looking forward to making more creative dishes with the meat. Have recommended it to friends and will definitely re-order when this box is finished. With just two of us in the household, it will be a little while to finish, but so far well worth the price and quality.

The organic chicken breasts from Heartstone Farm are the best my family and I have ever tasted. The chicken breasts are very plump and incredibly fresh. I made chicken salad with them last week, and the chicken was so tasty and tender that all of it was quickly devoured. I will be making another batch of that chicken salad today! We are grateful to have discovered Heartstone Farm and will be continuing to buy all kinds of meat from them for a long time to come.

I made a vacation order of steaks, tips, ground beef patties, and shaved steak. As well we ordered boneless chicken breasts and spatchcock chicken. Everything arrived individually wrapped and frozen just the day before we left and we were able to put it in coolers the next day. At this point we have had some steaks, burgers, shaved steak and can't wait to grill the spatchcok chicken. everything is so fresh! We have placed several orders and have not been disappointed.

Easy, seamless transaction. I ordered the Grazed in Maine package, and before I knew it, I had a case of meat on my doorstep! And I was intrigued by non-gmo, corn-based packing materials. Yes, I broke a piece off, put in water, and watched it disappear. Wicked cool!

We have been absolutely thrilled with Heartstone Farms. We stated with a small order to try it out and recently purchased a cow quarter share. Kidney, quite frankly is not for everyone. In taste, it can be quite gamy and feral if not sourced from a good supplier. It is not a meat usually served on its own in Western cuisine, although Eastern cuisine there are some splendid dishes. Spicy Korean kidney is very nice indeed. If you are going to add organ meats to your diet, you need to be careful. The liver and kidneys serve a s a filter, so it can be easy to eat product you would rather not, if you don't take care in selecting your meat. I would not purchase either liver or kidney from a supermarket.. The risk are simply too great. I know Heartstone's product is free of hormones, antibiotics, and corn, so I can feel good with what I am purchasing. Kidney is not something I will eat every night, but it is rich in nutrients, economical, and adds a challenge to the evening dinner. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a properly made steak and kidney pie.

There is a difference! This is some of the best tasting beef you will ever have, from cows raised right here in Maine.

You always take a risk when ordering from some place new. These burgers did not disappoint - they were delicious! Much better than Whole Paycheck and even better than our local butcher.

I ordered several of the Organic Chicken Breasts, and they have been fantastic! Well trimmed (no waste, unlike what you often find in the grocery stores) and delicious. I marinated some in a little lemon juice, garlic, oregano and salt in cooked them on the stovetop...wonderful taste and texture. I will be ordering more next month working doubt.

This is the Most Flavorful Chicken you will ever Cook! We just received three chickens from Farmer Dan and I decided to cook one immediately. I thawed the chicken and then cut it in half and added some lemon juice and spice rub and left it in the fridge for 3 hours.Then cooked in on the BBQ at 400F for about 80 minutes. Flavor was amazing and it was very tender and moist. I need to order more!

We LOVE our meat from Heartstone Farm! We live in Maine and have been searching for local meat that delivers - this was PERFECT for us! It's most definitely a good price for local and ethically raised beef. Also, their shipping is eco-friendly! The insulation they use is made of corn and is completely compostable - will definitely be ordering again!! Did I mention how delicious the meat is?! YUM!

The whole experience is top notch. This was my second purchase from Heartstone and it exceeded my expectations again. We have been eating organic meats for many years but recently converted to grass fed beef after my 14 year old son became a food activist concerned about what cows were being fed and how they were being inhumanely treated. This conversion was quite a shock to our taste buds, as we discovered many grass fed meats to be extremely gamy, even more so than the venison we are used to eating. Thank goodness we found Heartstone Farm beef! It's absolutely delicious. We've had the 6 oz burgers, the ground beef, and sirloin so far and have found all the cuts to be tender, juicy, and so flavorful. It's by far the best grass fed beef we've had. This is the tastiest ground beef I've ever eaten. I have never had Wagyu beef before, and it is much more tender than even the wonderful organic beef I can get locally. This is well marbled meat, and guess what, animal fat is very very good for you! I enjoy how juicy the meat is. Guess I'm a convert.

It was the most flavorful and tender chicken ever!

The chicken breast were some of the best I’ve tasted. Knowing they are ‘clean’ makes it even better. I will definitely being buying more and recommending them to others.

Meat was well back and arrived frozen even in this heat. So far i have only used the ground beef. But I have been very happy with what i have had so far.

This is the best tasting meat I've had in the Northeast. Obviously everything is extremely fresh. All the beef is grass fed, which is sometimes hard to find, and always overpriced in the grocery stores. Not only is it very important to support our local farmers, the value is great. It would of cost the same to buy all these cuts from a chain supermarket, and that would be for non grass fed beef that was mass produced and sat in 3-4 trucks and factories before I ever saw it. Also their customer service is wonderful. All the meat comes vacuum sealed and flash frozen, which is perfect since there's only 4 of us to cook for. Once I've gotten through everything I'll definitely be buying another.

This was our first order and we will be ordering more. The meat was packed very well and arrived, as it should, frozen. We love the quality and the taste of this grass fed ground beef. My teenage kids noticed the difference in taste. I used it for beef burgers.
