Best meat ever

Just received " The Maine Box Assortment". Dan was very helpful during the ordering process, answering all my questions quickly. Delivery process was right on time and the meat well packaged and completely frozen. We had the T-Bone steaks last evening for dinner and they were delicious. I have already ordered another "Maine Box" and some chicken breasts.

This was our first order with Heartstone Farm and it will not be our last. Everything arrived carefully packaged and totally frozen. The hamburgers are by far the best we’ve ever had, and steak was incredible. We are so happy to have found this wonderful local farm!

I ordered the Heartstone Farm's monthly beef box. The order arrived at my house in a timely manner and everything was packaged, labeled, and frozen. I have tried the hamburger, and one of the tip steaks. I must say, they were both incredible and tasty. Fresh and better than any beef that I've purchased from any store. I can't wait for my next box, and to try the steaks, and beef kabob that arrived with my first box. If you aren't sure of the product and want a sample of what it's like, I would recommend the beef box. That way you get to sample different cuts of beef that farmer Dan offers. We are a retired couple trying to maintain our social distance in this age of the coronavirus. The pandemic led us to seek out food options that would provide reliable, locally sourced food options not dependent on inconsistent national distribution chains and which would minimize our trips to the supermarket. We found Heartstone Farm online. It offered locally grown, grass fed beef with online ordering and payment coupled with home delivery. As a bonus, the farm is located here in Maine so we were able to "buy local" which we like to do when possible. The web site was intuitive and functional. I had a couple of initial questions which I was able to get answered within 5 minutes using the online chat feature. The Heartsone Beef Box fit our needs perfectly. We receive a monthly shipment of various cuts of grass fed beef. The first shipment arrived at our door within a week of ordering. It was well packaged with environmentally friendly packaging materials, and we were able to put the beef directly into our freezer. The cuts are a perfect size for two people, and the beef, as advertised, is delicious. We couldn't be happier with the service or the product, and we are pleased to have the reliability and benefits of eating locally sourced products.

We have tried local beef before from other sources and found it had a "different" flavor. This has none of that, in fact it is delicious. The steaks are tender, juicy and very flavorful. We were blessed to have seen your little store and try a small package, now we order monthly packages.

I am without words how good the beef liver is! I am re-ordering now! Real simple, saute onions/butter, remove from pan. salt pepper garlic powder on liver, cook a few minutes on each side. Onions back in! Good to go!

We have been using HeartStone Farm for over two years now. Have bought a 1/4 of a cow and split it with my sister-in- law. Now we buy the hamburger, burger patties, steaks and chicken. Steaks and chicken are much more tender than local stores, and we believe healthier. Now my older son tried it and is buying it now. And his mother-in-law is buying it also. Was not a hard sell, they were just fussy.
