My family enjoyed it and was a great gift for them

exceptional quality

Our purchases of Heartstone short ribs never disappoints. The meat is always of exceptional quality and our family all enjoy beef stews, pho, and many more dishes made with this meat.

Taste's great!

This was a gift for my sons for Christmas and everything they have made so far, has been excellent.

Beef

Great ground beef.

Wonderful Meats

Very fresh and tasty!

Delicious and nutritious!

I used this in making what ended up being the tastiest chili I've ever made, and the health benefits of organ meats speak for themselves. This is a great product. Will buy again!

Beef Short Ribs

Amazing slow cooked fell off the bone very meaty

Another delicious meal!

Always love the short ribs especially at this price!! Braised them In a classic red wine sauce on top truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus. Meat was so incredibly tender and flavorful! Looking forward to this dinner again soon.

best beef I’ve tastied!

Farmer Dans beef is the best. I want grasss finished, pork that is pasture raised. He has both. Can’t beat it . Right in Maine.

Love Heartstone Farm

We are so happy my son told us about Heartstone Farm. Everything we have eaten has been perfect! Thank you Heartstone for making this so easy.

Just received my first order and for $150, quick shipping, I got a boatload. I am set for the month ! I really wanted to stop buying from large chicken factories and start supporting local farmers that have pride in their product and are thankful for their animals. Im excited to start with farmer Dan.

Excellent quality and service

This remains my top pick for holiday gifts for family who live out-of-state. The quality is always superb, the products ship quickly in a package that protects what's inside, my family raves about the meats, and I feel good supporting a local farm. Thank you for all you do!

farm sampler box

As usual I received the best of the best from Heartstone farms!! I order many varieties of meats and share with my family. It’s been years since I’ve bought from grocery stores

Holiday Prime Rib

We really enjoyed the Prime Rib shared with family over dinner and then we had leftovers that we used for Prime Rib & Provolone subs, delicious!! Love the local beef for its quality, freshness and flavor. Thanks Heartstone!

Fajita

Very flavorful

Heartstone Bone-in Pork Chop

Full flavored pork chop with the best taste when oven-baked!

chix thighs

Best tasting chicken

Great sausages!

I am usually not a fan of breakfast sausage. I find them to be too greasy and often have a gristly taste. However these sausages were delightful. You tasted the blueberry and maple and the meat was high quality.

Not worth the money

Way overpriced for what you get. You're better off to find a good local butcher. Never again!

My first ever turkey

I had never cooked a turkey before so I followed instructions for cooking like a T. And the outcome was spectacular! Tender, moist In one word YUMMY!

We enjoy the ground beef in meatloaf, Swedish meatballs and our daughters favorite double cheese burger.

deliciously fresh

Meat arrived fresh packaged .. quantity and quality of the meat was 10+..

delicious beef

I just got some ancestral beef and it has a bolder beef flavor and makes me feel so nourished! Great customer service and quick delivery.

Fabulous prime rib

My family and I had one of Farmer Dan’s prime rib roasts for Christmas dinner, and it was marvelous! Tender, juicy, and delicious - I couldn’t be more pleased. Absolutely fabulous meat, just like all of the products I get from him (get a subscription - it’s great!). I’ll definitely be buying it again!

Would highly recommend this company. The products are fresh, delicious and the customer service is exceptional.

local food for the familia

It was wonderful to be able to buy locally produced food for my family in Maine for the holidays. They loved it and I love supporting my home state! ❤️

Yummy braised short ribs

Fall off the bone delicious. They are a must try.

Chicken Breast Tenders

We made delicious panko ranch tenders. They were delicious. Always quick delivery. Very happy with Heartstone.

St. Louis ribs

Amazing! Fell off the bone… The family loved them! Glad I have another rack in the freezer.

Oxtails

Excellent quality

Made a GREAT gift!

Thank you for making a wonderful gift for my brother in Maine - He was impressed and looks forward to enjoying everything! Thank you for all you do!

wonderful

I purchased the steak lovers package for my husband as a Christmas gift. We love everything! You can really taste the difference from store bought meats. Thank you!

The steaktips were delicious. Looking forward to our next meal. Loved the convience of door to door shipping.

Truly enjoy this steak

We love our beef from heartstone farm. The ribeye is exceptional

Delicious Short Ribs

Beautifully prepare and packaged meats. Definitely check out the recipes. Made two versions of the ribs. One with an internet recipe the other with Farmer Dan’s. Heartstone Farm’s recipe is the way to go!

Great Purchase

I am thrilled that I found Heartstone farm and decided to order. The chicken sausage is phenomenal as well as everything else that I ordered. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Try it out

Having been subject to grocery store meats for so long, its an absolute pleasure tasting the great offering the sampler has.

bone-in ham

Delicious! Moist and flavorful. I gave up on grocery store ham years ago because it was always so disappointing. My son requested ham for Christmas dinner so I splurged. Well worth it. Will certainly buy again. And, I have ham in the freezer for a casserole later this month and, of course, the bone for bean soup.

Best steak I’ve ever tasted!

If you haven’t tried grass-fed beef you really are missing out. I’m on a budget and I find Heartstone Farm’s prices are competitive. When I look at the quality of their meats I don’t believe you’ll be able to beat the value! Thank you Farmer Dan and family for making this available to me!! Sharon

Yummy

These tenders are small enough that we can cook them up quickly for a simple meal or add them to recipes that need chicken such as casseroles or soups.

We loved this turkey

Delicious, organic and - most important to me- these birds seemed to have a good farm life. I refuse to consume meat from processing plants. This bird was juicy and delicious and tasted like turkey! ( those butterballs take like nothing). We will be back next year:)

prime rib on Christmas

This was a beautiful piece of boneless prime rib kosher salt and a seer was all that was needed medium rare perfection Melts in your mouth

We ordered two packages and have only cooked one so far. The meat was incredibly tender. Very very good. Have not been disappointed in any of or orders from Heartstone Farm.

Excellent Products!

Got our sampler box and have been loving the different meats! Had shaved steak for dinner yesterday and steaks tonight! Wonderful customer service and company! Buy local!

perfect gift

We purchased two boxes for family members who have everything. Each was thrilled with the gift, the selections in the box, the quality of the meats, the packaging and look forward to enjoying the quality meat.

Soups

Love, that soups and chilies are now available to order! We've tried the chili and sausage lentil soup. Can't wait to try chicken next! They've all been delicious so far.

I got four lbs of bacon with my box and all four packs were not vacuum sealed and were all a sickly greenish gray color, but all the beef i received is fantastic!

Great company

The meat we receive from Heart Stone farm is wonderful. Their delivery service has been perfect and there hasn’t ever been a product of theirs that we have not loved.

very satisfied

We received our first order and We are thrilled with the quality of the meat. It’s nice to know you’re getting great quality meats atvs reasonable price. We Love supporting our farmers.

best chicken wings

The size of these chicken wings is perfect.. so crispy and delicious. Even my picky eaters loved them

Great quality

I will say that I don't believe I will ever buy meat from the supermarket away. I feel like I'm eating actual meat now. Service has being excellent!!

the best beef

The beef was incredible. I have never had such good meat before.

Love the sirloin, just unbelievable quality and taste

Best I've ever tasted

I ordered a medium-sized prime rib to enjoy on Chritsmas Day with my family. We were not disappointed when I followed the enclosed roasting instructions. The prime rib came out just the way we'd hoped, and was melt-in-your-mouth tender! I will be ordering from Heartstone Farm again. They deliver quality meats, with great ship times and packing.

e- gift card

Purchasing an e-gift card from Heartstone was so easy! I ordered it when it was convenient for me and had it sent on Christmas to the recipient. You can chose whatever send date you want!

Easy gift

Easy to use website and prompt delivery!

Every thing is delicious!

First order

Box came perfectly intact, product was frozen solid after 2 days of transit time. Cooked our first pork chop. Noticed right away when opening the pack that there was no "off" smell to the pork. Meat cooked up nice and tender, tasty. We're just an empty nest here so the gift box will last the better part of 2 months. I'm looking forward to cooking up the chicken wings on the smoker once the winter storm weather clears.

Exceeded expectations!

E-Gift Card

Fabulous gift for the hard to gift friend or relative. Always met with great feedback and the farm typically gains another customer because Heartstone’s products are addicting!

The pies looked amazing, but the flavors were flat. We were disappointed, sorry, we were expecting higher quality.

"Right-sized" Prime

My husband bought me a prime rib for Christmas. Prime Rib is one of my favorite meals and I hadn't had it in a long time. He found Farmer Dan online and was able to purchase a small (3.68 pound Prime Rib). This would be 4+ generous servings for me. I am a fan of crusty end cuts but I like my prime rib medium rare and these two things don't go together when you dine out. With the smaller prime rib, we could cook it to medium rare and still have two great end cuts. This was the best present! Living in the Midwest, I was surprised to hear the farm was in Maine, but the grass fed no additives made a wonderfully tender and flavorful meal. Thank you !

The BEST pork chops - we cook ours in the air fryer and order these regularly!

Christmas gift

It was bought as a gift for our parents. They have laced their order and are awaiting their deliver.

Chicken Wings

I highly recommend! They’re great in the pan with some beef tallow.

Excellent gift!

We purchased the best steak sampler as a gift for a family member. Delivery was so fast and our family member said the steaks were excellent.

Great Gift

My son was so enthusiastic about receiving a box for Christmas two years that he asked for another for his birthday. Family and friends were included on the list this year. They were excited to open their boxes. Positive reviews all around!

Christmas shortribs

Delicious, fall off the bone yumminiss!

Love these sausages just put in my second order can’t wait to receive it. The kids love them too.

Ribs

Love all the meats I receive so fresh my ribs were very meaty and fell off the bone best I have ever cooked so different from a grocery store.

Everyone was so pleased.

I sent your product to our three children and their families for Christmas. They were all thrilled with the selections and the variety. Haven’t tried them yet, but all arrived frozen and in good condition.

prime rib

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner eating prime rib with all the fixings. I followed the cooking instructions that accompanied the prime rib and it was perfect.

Fabulous Meat

Prime Rib was amazing, I wouldn’t buy it from anywhere else after buying from them. The directions were clear and the meat was so fresh. Don’t hesitate to buy.

Exceptional ham!

My family was blown away at the difference in this year's turkey for Thanksgiving and the ham for Christmas on the table! The flavor and texture of the meat was amazing! What a difference in this meat from the meat from the grocery store.

First time customer

Shipping was supper quick and everything was packed amazingly. I ordered a subscription box, the chicken box, and 10lbs of the ancestral ground beef. Was a little disappointed because the chicken wings were missing from the box but I was grateful that customer service was fast about refunding the cost of the wings. Will definitely order again! Thank you!!

Kidneys and pork chops

We did a varied order as our 1st one to try this place out. What I was most impressed by was (i) how beautiful the beef kidneys were, and (ii) how lovely and fatty the pork chops were. Both of these items can be such a challenge to find in grocery stores - beef kidney are difficult to find at all, and pork chops in grocery stores are often cut too thin with most of the fat removed leaving them terrible shadows of what they could've been. Thank you so much to Heartstone Farm! We'll definitely be ordering again!

sirloint tip

Fast sear,if you like the cut it’s a fine steak

Excellent!

Probably the best Bacon I've had and I try a lot of different brands! Just fantastic quality and taste.

Chili Review

Wasn't really sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the Chili! Packaged frozen in a bag, simple to warm up, served 2 people and tastes amazing! Great option on a cold day in Ohio

DELICIOUS SHORT RIBS!!

We received our subscription special of 5lb short ribs for $25….I was nervous cause it seems like a lot of work for the tender deliciousness we usually reserve for restaurants only….but I impressed myself and my husband…and my kids! So tender and amazing!

the best

Shaved steak is so versatile and Farmer Dan’s is the best tasting I’ve found!

Can't get enough!

We subscribe to the beef box and can't get enough. We are so happy we can get chicken in our boxes now. We really appreciate how Hearthstone goes out of their way to keep things wholesome and holistic for their customers and more importantly, their animals. Thanks Hearthstone!

arrived promptly, packed well

The meat arrived promptly and was packaged well. We have not tried the meat yet, but it looks amazing and I will try to update once we have tasted. I like how there were holiday packages because it gave us a reason to try this out in a fun way to determine if we want to order monthly shares.

Exceeded my expectations.

Exceeded my expectations. Very, very delicious. Will definitely be ordering again.

Ummmm...SO Delicious!

My husband and I tried the Sweet Italian Sausage last night and I had to write and let you know how delicious it was! I've already made another order and added this sweet sausage! I can't wait to try it in spaghetti and over rice! There are so many options and recipes and I'm definitely a SIS (Sweet Italian Sausage) from Heartstone Farm Lover! Thanks for the delicious meats! Sincerely, Renee' Stiffler

Bird is the Word!

These tenders did not disappoint! Tender, lean and delicious. We won't ever buy prepackaged breaded tenders again, it's so worth it making your own with Heartstones tenders. You'll love em, we do.

My Box of Yums

This year I splurged and purchased the Heartstone Sampler Box for my family as well as 2 other families. This box contained items that I never had prior and I was not disappointed. Your newest item ( Heartstone Farmhouse Chili ) is an addiction and I will be ordering more for sure. Also this Sampler Box contained Breakfast Sausage and those were delicious and perfect for Christmas morning. Oh and Thank You Heartstone for the Christmas present. We immediately put the Heartstone 2023 Cow Bell ornament on our tree. It is adorable and I have rung it a few times already. I want to mention that my friends raved about their Sampler Boxes too and thanked me plenty.

Absolutely Delicious!

The Heartstone Beef Brisket was the perfect Instant Pot meal for the family - tender, juicy and full of flavor! Everyone loved it! I'll definitely be ordering this again.

The Prime of Prime Ribs!

Ordered two of the 5-6lbs ones. Let those bad boys smoke for about three hours and my whole family was in awe with the juiciness and tenderness at med rare. Best prime ribs I have bought to date!

Awful

There were no bones in this 170.00 Rib roast. It was good but far from great Extremely disappointed.

great gift

We received this as a present and loved every thing about it!

Best Smoked Ham Ever!

We were pleasantly surprised with our ten lb. Smoked Ham. It was delicious and very moist. Would certainly order this again!

I had never cooked a turkey before so I followed instructions for cooking like a T. And the outcome was spectacular! Tender, moist In one word YUMMY!

Bone in pasture raised ham

The best ham we’ve ever had.Our guest couldn’t believe how delicious it was. There was so much meat for a bone in ham. We always do a spiral ham .We will never go with spiral after tasting this ham. Absolutely delicious.Keep up with the great products .Just placed my second order with Heartstone farms, can’t wait to receive my products.Thank you Lynn Obrien

Insanely good!

I eat primarily grass fed meat from Whole Foods, but gave the Maine box a shot. WOW. Even the ground meat has more umami and taste than anything I've had from the store. The cuts are delicious and I've loved every piece so far ("shaved steak" was surprisingly good). 10/10 recommend

Worthy Christmas Dinner

The prime rib I ordered for my Christmas dinner with friends was very popular with my 13 guests. People kept going back for more servings, even though I used nothing more than butter and salt for seasoning. The price was reasonable, and I appreciate being able to support a true farmer, instead of a factory churning out unhealthy meat. Recommended!

Most delicious ham we all have ever eaten. So moist, not salty, so tender. Simply delicious. Can’t wait to try the beef! ❤️❤️❤️

So delicious!!!

The Prime rib from Hearthstone farm was so delicious I forgot to take a picture. The meat was very flavorful and juicy. I also love the customer service and the excellent delivery. I finally found my favorite farm.

Not great didn’t melt in my mouth
