I recently ordered the 34 lb Maine box because I wanted an assortment of cuts and this particular item was just the ticket. My order arrived in a unique packaging which is biodegradable. Everything was frozen solid. I had the opportunity to try the steak burgers a day after receiving my order. By the way instruction is provided on thawing your meats as well as cooking. The steak burgers were tender and tasty. I am going to have a steak this weekend. There is enough variety in this package to suit a host of different tastes. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. By the way customer service is outstanding as well. I know we will continue to order from Heartstone Farms. You should too.

love the packaging only my first order...bc it did the job without being wasteful/overdone, as with some other companies. This was my first time trying grass fed beef....so I appreciated the specific helpful suggestions for ways of cooking that would enhance the meat, which is not fatty like my regular beef purchases from the grocery store...escaping excess fat and chemicals/hormones etc was my motivation to try this company's products. Flavor: excellent...I loved not having a mouthful of beef fat in each bite...and did use marinade and' or butter as suggested. I am a happy camper, and will be reordering. Good wishes to this com many for its excellent healthy products!

WE purchased half of a cow share in April and have been eating like kings. The steaks are unbelievable! The best we have ever had. They are tender and the flavor is unmatched. The hamburgers are delicious and the shaved steak is a real treat. The staff has been wonderful and responsive. Our freezer will always be kept full with meat from Farmer Dan. We tell everyone to go to Heartstone Farm. Best investment we've made during these unpredictable times, and we like supporting local farms and businesses.

Chuck roast made with carrots, onions, potatoes and garlic came out fantastic! We’re already in loooove with the brisket and this roast was so delicious. Pot roast sandwiches for leftovers...yum!! If you haven’t tried the chuck roast yet, get this next. Enjoy!

I am a huge fan of flank steak and skirt steak, usually marinated in soy sauce, red wine, garlic and onion and grilled medium rare. I ordered a skirt steak in my first order with Heartsone recently (they were out of flank steak, unfortunately), and was anxious to taste it without the taste of a marinade being too controlling. I dusted it with salt, pepper, and a little granulated garlic, so I could taste the 14 day aged cut on its own. I found it to be delicious, with great beef flavor and tenderness. Unlike a lot of people who cook skirt steak to make fajitas, I eat it sliced on its own, like any other steak. And it was great, all by itself. The steak I got was one pound in weight, and my wife and I barely ate half of it at dinner. While the steak is thin compared with other steaks, like flank steak its density makes it take a little longer to cook than you'd think just looking at it. But a couple minutes per side on a hot grill turned out great tasting skirt steak. I'd definitely order it again, and look forward to trying Heartsone's flank steak when I can. I also ate the organic chicken thighs I ordered from Heartstone as my first meal made from my order and they were quite good as well. This was my first order with Heartstone, and so far I am very pleased with the quality of their products.

I usually buy shaved steak at our local grocery store. However, I recently placed my first order from Heartstone Farm, and they had shaved steak available. We made Steak Bombs for dinner last night and the steak was absolutely delicious-juicy and tender with a wonderful fresh flavor. I will be purchasing this in my next order. We are really liking this meat. The T-Bone steaks were so nice and tender. I like that I know my meat is coming from a family farm. Everything arrived still frozen solid. I don't ever eat pork chips but ordered them anyways. We just seasoned with some avacado oil and spices and it was delicious. My 1 year old loved eating the meat off the bone too. Will definitely be in every box we order!

This Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage is very very yummy ! We have used it on pizzas, with breakfast pan fried and grilled it for sandwiches ! Perfect texture for crumbling as well without the skin. We are making tacos next ... LOL Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage Tacos... all around Yums !

There are good local farmers with decent beef but I have not had any local chicken that compares to Heartstone. You can really taste the difference. And I’m talking the best I can find not grocery store chicken. I’d rather not buy my meat from the grocery store. Thanks for making it easy to stock up on the best.

You can taste the difference! These hot dogs are more like old fashioned hot dogs to me - nice beef flavor, good seasoning and they are NOT fatty and greasy. I usually pass on regular hot dogs but these are really good. I’m thinking they would be great mixed in with some pasta and vegetables as they are more like a beef sausage that a greasy grocery store hot dog. Try them, you’ll taste the difference

I have ordered the Sweet Sausages several times from Heartstone Farm. Each and every time, the meat is well-packaged, completely frozen (even in July 90+ heat and on a UPS truck for several hours), and extremely full of flavor and totally delicious. I have used this sausage with pasta as well as served alone. Why purchase any meat from Big Agriculture when the meat is full of antibiotics and GMO corn, as well as full of adrenaline from the horrific treatment of abuse? Heartstone Farms meat is Organic, no antibiotics, and grass-fed. Why would anyone ever go back to grocery store meat when wonderful farms like Heartstone Farm are available? Like all of the meat I've received from Farmer Dan, the Fajita Meat is full of favor and perfectly portioned for 2-3 people. I've stopped buying meat at the supermarket since getting meat from Farmer Dan. It may cost a little more than the supermarket, but knowing that the meat I'm eating was raised the way that nature intended, makes it worth the cost in my book.
