Whenever I fix soup my husband want “a piece of meat” in it. Farmer Dan’s short ribs are just right for that. The taste of the short ribs, and really any meat, tastes so much better than what you buy at the store. When you get meat from the Heartstone Farm you know what you are getting and it always tastes great. I also love that all the packing material can be recycled. That way it’s all taken care of and out of your way.

This meat is different from what you buy at the supermarket. Not just in terms of flavor but the whole bird seems denser and sturdier. And it's wonderful having the bones for broth! Thanks as always for a wonderful product.

You just can’t go wrong ordering these Chicken Thighs! They are very tasty and juicy. I seasoned then with salt, pepper, garlic and then finished them with fresh cilantro and a dash of red pepper flakes. These are a staple in my monthly subscription.

nice cut.if grilling seems to stay tender without marinating. Little chewy this time around so will be marinating but still good!

This Duck was sooo good? My order processed so smoothly and delivery process was awesome. We found this farm because my wife was vegetarian for years but has had some health issues and we started out with some chicken that she would not feel guilty about as her vegetarianism was morally based again big farming. She has loved her chicken so I decided to try out the duck and threw in a beef brisket to round out the order. Duck was delicious! cant wait to try out the brisket in the smoker!

The premium ground beef is always one of our favorites, and it is superior quality.. Fantastic for making shepherds/cottage pie, and our family meatball recipe. Also it is very well packaged, as it's easily stackable, and defrosted in the one-pound blocks.

Always wanted to try hanger steak and Heartstone hanger steak didn't disappoint. After a little research, I did a simple marinade and cut against the grain. It was delicious! For those of us with a learning curve, some grilling tips for these wonderful cuts would be useful.

I had been ordering these duck legs straight from Common Wealth Poultry, so I was excited to see that I could get them here along with the other meat that I want to order. They have great flavor and are reasonably priced. I usually just roast them in a cast iron skillet in the over, but I they give off enough juices I am looking forward to trying a true confit recipe at some point.

You can’t miss with Farmer Dan. The chicken wings are no exception!

I always thought that chuck steak was a poor man's sirloin...but this one was better than sirloin. It was tender, juicy & just the right amount of fat for flavor. Just broiled it with some salt , pepper ,garlic & butter. Medium rare was terrific. Best "poor man's" steak ever!! Thanks Farmer Dan. We have loved everything!

The dry aged Ribeye is excellent. Each steak is individually wrapped and arrives frozen so very easy to put in the freezer if you are not going to eat them right away. This is a repeat order for me because I’m very satisfied with Heartstone meats.

I love Heartstone Farms! On a 90F day, the frozen meat was still frozen when I opened the shipping box that had been sitting on my porch. Their meat is high quality and tasty! Give ‘em a try, I did.

The ground pork from Serendipity farm is delicious and so versatile, it’s one of our favorites.

Growing up on a farm we know what real bacon is and this is definitely it. I lay out the whole package on my grill and it brings the family to the kitchen for breakfast. The bacon is wonderful. Thank you for having this as an option in our meat package.

This Italian sausage is all meat. That may sound strange, but how often have you been chewing a piece of Italian sausage and detected gristle ? Too often with store bought sausage. The flavor , texture and smell of this sausage reminds me of the sausage my Nana used to make . Thank you for this Italian sausage .,

Was disappointed that the chicken provided wasn't tide mill farms, I wasnt aware they added another supplier that isn't organic. Still tasty meat, but a little bummed i cannot choose between farms in my meat box when there are different suppliers.
