I’m very happy with the chicken breasts I ordered from Farmer Dan! Tasty,

Good chicken, terrible cut.. They do not come in many strips. It is more like a few strips a couple nuggets and the rest shredded and hard to use it is so small of chucks.. Very disappointed with this. Will never choose them again in my package.

The pork chops plump up when I cook them. There is so much flavor in the pork. I will continue to order them!

Heartstone Farm products are delicious and of high quality. We are repeat customers and will continue to purchase their awesome grass-fed meats. This past weekend we smoked one of their beef briskets and it was outstanding. Five stars on everything we have tried from the farm.

The brisket is wonderfully flavorful and tender, far superior to anything I’ve purchased in the store. I would have given 5 stars but the amount of fat made the cost way too high. That said, I would buy again but only for a very special meal.

Love all the meat I ordered from Farmer Dan especially my Boston Butt—I slow cooked it highly seasoned in the slow cooker with orange and lemon zest and just a little juice from the fruit—it was amazing in the taco shells along with all fresh toppings and taco sauce. Looking forward to another Boston Butt—this one I will Smoke in my pellet smoker. Made Bone Broth with my Chicken Wings—that is always amazing—love great meat and food always—Thank you Farmer Dan for being there!

Waited until weekend to cook the duck legs. It was my first attempt and was very cautious. Seasoned them with garlic butter overnight.Seared legs to crisp the skin, cooked on grill @275 for 45min. Turned out great.

Haven’t gotten through my first box yet, but so far everything is delicious. The box came well packed, frozen and stocked with excellent cuts. The quality far exceeds the cost making Heartstone an easy decision for me.

Nice and meaty. I tried a Thai recipe that worked out well but I could see doing them in a new way to preserve moisture next time (the method made them a little tough, though not too hard to eat). The flavor of the meat is nice, but fairly "light". I don't know if this is from the breed of duck but I could have liked it a little more "ducky". I will buy again and maybe next time also spring for some breast (duck breast costs a bit more than my budget, but I could see it might be for a very special occasion).

The duck breasts were a real treat! Meaty and tender, we served them with a wine and cherry sauce over wild rice….raves! They cook up fast, so use a thermometer. By the time the skin was browned and duck fat rendered, they were pink and ready to serve. I’d order them again !

The best beef I have ever had by far. This is my second order. My sister and my nephew ordered a share as well because I made them some of last years share. I do wish the steaks were thicker or even if there was an option to pay a little more I would still do it for thicker steaks. But the quality of the meat is fantastic. Also , it was delivered solid as a rock. And if that was not enough there was a card and a set of steak knives. An unexpected but classy touch.

My mom-in-law loved this. She’s hooked now! She said she’ll need more for her home-cooked pasta nights. Smooth and flavorful: an excellent compliment to our favorite pasta dishes. We’ll be making sausage sandwiches with our next order.

The ducks are beautiful and arrived fully frozen!

I loved the ground pork, I use it so many different dishes, as part of meatball mix, egg rolls, stir fry, Mexi-meat and once in a while just a pork burger.

Good Flavor, meaty, a bit chewy. Cooked them in a stew with celery, an onion, potatoes and seasoning.

We ordered chicken from Heartstone Farm for the first time and we loved it. The flavor is just so much better then when you buy the injected pieces of meats in the store, it makes a big difference!

After doing lots of online research, I selected Heartstone Farm based on the fact they were an established family farm. Product description of meat-quality and size was informative. This was a 50th Wedding Anniversary gift so it had to be perfect and it was! It was very important for me to track the shipping and delivery since I’m 3,000 miles away. Within minutes of gourmet meat delivery, I had a call from our family. They have since raved about the quality and tenderness of meat. I may have started a new Family Tradition.

Once again, our Maine box arrived quickly and frozen sold. Had the rib eye steaks last night. Great tasting and tender! We enjoy every cut in the box. The beef hot dogs are a special treat! Can't just eat one! We originally were on a four month delivery schedule. but have moved to a three month, because we go through it so fast.

I am blown away with the quality and value of the bundles. There is usually a premium price on grass-fed, grass-finished beef at the supermarket, so being able to get it directly from a local farm was a great choice.

We ordered 6 pounds of beef tips for a family gathering. Since moving to Virginia, we are not able to find New England style tips and I miss them terribly. We marinated the met overnight, and the flavor was wonderful. The tenderness of the beef was hit or miss. Some of the strips were very tender, but more were a bit too chewy. We did not overcook the meat, as it was all very moist. The meat arrived on time and packaged really well, so that was wonderful. Overall, a mixed experience that leaned positive, but also a tad disappointing.

The duck was amazing. First time I have ever cooked it and it was only slightly overdone. Can't wait to cook the next package.

Great ground beef; low fat --around 15%. We love it. I am a closely monitored food intake for health -- Heartstone grass fed ground beef is lean but versatile for hamburgers, meat sauce, meat balls, chili!! More flavorful and high quality consistently. Five pound add on is right size and a bargain on cost per pound.

This was a splurge. Roasted, served with red potatoes...very good! One thing we have always liked about corned beef is the leftovers, sliced thin and served on bread or rye crisps. Before discovering Heartstone I had a hard time in the meat department at the supermarket but now even more so. Nothing looks quite good anymore.

My daughter made some meatballs with it and they came out delicious!
