Loved the steak burgers, great flavor and quick and easy to make, we just left them sit overnight in the fridge and threw on the grill the next day. Nice size, did not shrink to much, in fact we have to upgrade our buns to accommodate their bigger size. First time purchase for us and will certainly come back for more.

I cooked the St. Louis Ribs today on my outdoor smoker. The night before I pulled the membrane, rubbed a thin layer of yellow mustard on the ribs and applied a dry rub. Today I let the ribs come to room temp and smoked them for 1 hr and 40 minutes. I applied my homemade bbq sauce and let them rest for 20 minutes. Then I sliced the rack and they were so tender it was like a knife going through warm butter. Extremely tender, I will order these again.

We recently received our first Heartstone Farm delivery, and we were delighted! It was packaged and shipped beautifully, and arrived in excellent condition. We had ordered various types and cuts of meat; everything looked high in quality. We decided to start with the fajita beef. With that first meal, we agreed that we'd be going back for more. It was flavorful, tender, sliced correctly, and had just enough marbling without being fatty. It was delicious. We hadn’t been eating much meat before finding Heartstone. Today’s factory farming is intolerably cruel. So, we did our homework and kept looking for a better source. With this fajita meal, we knew we’d found it. We ate this wonderful beef with pleasure, knowing the cattle had not been born into unthinkable suffering. Everybody wins: the farmer makes a profit, the cattle lives a decent life, and we are enjoying choice meat again.

The beef patties are very flavorful. The chicken breasts are tender and good. flavor. I was not impressed with the ribeye steak. The ones I received were not at all tender with tough gristle.

Just last night we cooked our first Spatchcock Chicken ordered from Heartstone Farm. These chickens grow up at Tide Mill Farm and Heartstone Farm sells them along with their delicious varied meat items. I had heard from my sister, who lives in Maine, how delicious these chickens were and I couldn't wait to try them. As soon as they were available, Farmer Dan contacted me via email to let me know I could order - and I ordered 4 of them. Well they arrived well packaged and frozen solid. We take one out and thaw it the day before in the fridge. Let me say these Spatchcock chickens do not disappoint! These chickens taste like chickens USED to taste when I was a kid - not like store bought chicken which is pumped with antibiotics and likely not very good feed. This was tender and juicy! You will definitely notice the difference! We put ours in our cast iron pan on top of sliced lemons and just salt and peppered it and cooked at 400 for 75 minutes. Delicious! You can't go wrong ordering these - SO GOOD! Will be ordering more!

Loved the Chicken leg quarters w skin and bone, so tasty and flavorful. I'll no longer be getting my chicken from regular stores.

These all beef hotdogs are quite a bit different that the store bought varieties. The store bought varieties have all kinds of mystery items in them in my opinion....things that are not good for human consumption. However, these hot dogs give you a much better feeling that you are eating healthy! They are slightly smaller in diameter than store bought hotdogs and do not have that "fat" like taste that store bought hotdogs have. These are firm and chewy and they snap when bitten into. My husband and I sensed zero fat in them...filling and tasty. Another win for Heartstone Farm.

We had never tried Grass Fed products before finding Heartstone Farm Maine online . So far we have enjoyed your Beef Liver, Ground Pork, Chicken Breasts and Skirt Steak. The Beef Liver is the absolute best we have ever had. The Ground Pork is simply delicious and the Chicken Breasts are so tender you can cut them with a fork. The Skirt Steak cooked up perfectly and tasted absolutely wonderful. I would rate our first experience with Heartstone Farms a total success from the ease of ordering to the Quick Delivery and the Green Packaging ..

These are the bone in chops that I order but was sent the porterhouse ones when I complain was told there is no difference between the to. There is the one in this photo are the ones I order. From there reply there're doing nothing to correct the issue . I guess as a customer I can't get what I paid for!

I placed an order with Heartstone farm for the first time last month. I loved how they seemed to value quality meat following more natural and humane practices. I also wanted to shop local and buy less from large grocery chains. I have not been disappointed. The website is very easy to use. I was initially searching to buy frozen whole chicken but loved how they also provide pork and beef as well. I felt the prices were very reasonable and appreciated how they offered a sampler for new customers. It allowed me to sample small portions of different meats at a good price with free shipping...was I missing something? Nope, I am very impressed and received my order promptly in well packaged starch insulated boxes. I haven't eaten everything yet but I made some of the best steak and cheeses as well as chicken pot pies and chicken broth I have had. I am extremely happy I took a chance buying from a new local company and I vouch for the quality I was looking for when I stumbled upon this website last month and I couldn't be happier.

The best hotdogs EVER. Clean meat taste, easy to thaw and brown in a skillet. Nice, beautiful sounding and feeling “snap” when bitten into. I can never go back to grocery store dogs!

The sausage has great flavor, and the blueberry is subtle but delicious. My biggest complaint would be the amount of gristle that was in the sausages. Other than that, they were very delicious! I would however choose the regular breakfast sausages over the blueberry due to the difference in gristle chunks.
