Beef patties are a nice size, packed three to a bag. There are only two of us, so I broke up and sauteed the third for an addition to pasta sauce for the next night's dinner. With all the storms here in Massachusetts, it's nice to know I don't have to keep going to the store to get meat.

First , the meat was so tender , it fell off the bone after being cooked in the oven. That never happens . Second the flavor had no chemical taste to it, yes chemical , which you will know once you eat these ribs . I had no idea my other meat had a bad taste until I tried these short ribs . We loved these short ribs! I used them to make Korean Short Rib Tacos in the slow cooker, which were excellent. As with all the meat we have ordered from Farmer Dan, the quality was excellent.

Best beef short ribs I've ever had! You can really taste the difference in quality. The flavor is just so much richer. I don't think I'll ever settle for conventional beef again!

Four stars because I chose poorly the method of cooking. These were huge meaty short ribs, with intense layers of fat. The instant pot was not a good choice…unless I committed to a two day recipe, cooling the sauce and skimming the 2” of fat! The beef was absolutely delicious, tender and tasty, served with my favorite risotto and roasted veggies. The wind howled and sleet hit the windows. We didn’t care. We had an awesome dinner.

Great packaging, great products, we ordered the chicken breast, ground beef, steak tips, and bacon. They were all delicious! I had tried butcher box in the bast but the packaging leaked more often than it didn't so I cancelled, Heartstone Farm has been a refreshing alternative, and it's local!! Win-win!

Hello Farmer Dan, this is my review of the Beef Short Ribs. First I want to say that the portions were perfect and the meat was tender. Heck, they were big. Sadly though I and my family didn’t like the taste of them. Now, that might just be us not having “grass fed beef “ before. The ribs started to smell like fish and it ended up somewhat tasting like it too. My son googled it and read that the Grass fed beef could do that, the melting fat can give off the fishy smell and slight fishy taste.

My husband and I cooked our Heartstone Farm Flat Iron states soon after they arrived. They were very tender and delicious and we'd highly recommend them. All the meat and chicken that arrived in our first order were packed well and solidly frozen. We are looking forward to tasting the other steaks and chicken soon! It's such a good feeling to buy food from a farm with grass fed beef rather than a supermarket! Farm raised is 1000% better!

This 14-Day Dry Aged Ribeye Steak was so melt in our mouth delicious reverse seared in the cast iron skillet-low and slow in the over followed by searing in the stove top. It was plenty to feed two of us-very tender and flavorful.

A flat iron is a versatile cut with great flavor. I like to pan fry it to medium rare. I’m looking forward to trying it in a Vietnamese style steak salad and fajitas.

We really enjoyed the 1# package of chicken thighs with skin and bones. They were small and tender, not fatty like the store bought ones we usually get. We have gotten chicken thighs from other farms but they were tough. These were really good. Thanks for the great quality!

I made bone marrow butter with the rich organic, grass fed marrow bones. I have been receiving rave reviews ever since! The marrow had incredible flavor and they were incredibly fresh. This is a repeat order for sure-and many friends will follow!
