My second time purchasing from Heartstone Farm and the products were superb once again. This time around I snagged a $99 stock up bundle of 3-4 lb briskets and I couldn't be anymore happy! I smoked one of these a day after I received it and it was hands down the best brisket I've had yet! 10/10

I was a lil leery of this cut, at first. Dan's meats are always good, though. So, I took a shot. They weren't fatty or tough, at all. They cook up nice n fast, with or without marinade. Tasty n well worth the money.

Sausage was good. Couldn't really taste the blueberries.

Love the meat from Farmers Dan , have been buying from him off and on since 2020.

The are just the right size for Artisan buns. They are flavorful and when grilled make a wonder meal. I am glad they come three to a package because that make it just right for our family.

I really enjoyed the Chuck Steaks! I did a 1 hour smoke in my pellet grill and then a reverse sear on a cast iron pan. Absolutely delicious and flavorful. The meat melted in your mouth. Quality meat, Highly recommend!

The flatiron steak was delicious as usual. I just love Farmer Dan’s high-quality Maine grown meats! This one wasn’t quite uniform in thickness from one end to the other, but that’s ok. I just cut it in half and cooked the thick half a little longer.

I recently purchased oxtails from Heartstone Farm and was quite pleased! First of all, at the point of purchase, I was given a nice discount. Immediately, I was apprised of the delivery and tracking information. My shipment arrived within a short time. It was properly packed with dry ice to keep it frozen and was nicely vacuumed packed ( I ordered 4) and ready to pop into my deep freezer. The tails were assorted in size and meaty; not at all like the skimpy kind I find in my local market. My family and I were pleasantly surprised how delicious the oxtails were, very tender, fall off the bone good just like I remembered from my childhood. Absolutely love ordering meat from Heartstone! It always arrives really frozen and the quality can’t be beat. Large factory farms produce unhealthy animals that harm our bodies, the environment, local farmers and the animals. No one wins but the large corporate farms. I’m so happy there are great alternatives like heartstone! I will be getting all my meet (except seafood obviously) from them going forward.

The ground beef bundle is a great addition to our freezer. With the versatility of ground beef to create so many different dishes, it’s nice to know we always have product on hand. Burgers, chili, shepherds pie, and almost every other ground beef recipe tastes great with Heartstone Farm ground beef.

Very tasty, full of flavor. Served with carmelized onions on a toasted bun. Can’t wait to dig out the grill when it stops snowing so I can enjoy these tast burgers on the fire.

I'd never bought a bone-in ham, before. I've always wanted to try one. Dan's meats are always very good. So, I have this one a try. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. It arrived well-sealed in plastic, n frozen solid. It cooked up beautifully. I really should've taken a few pix after it was done. We tore right into it, though. It was delicious. I took a couple of pix before cooking, but don't see where to upload them. Note: I bought a larger, but uncooked ham. It took longer in the oven, but came out great.

The Italian Chicken Sausage is the BEST! It makes an outstanding chili with that my husband loves. It fries up good with real butter and is great tasting. I will definitely be ordering this again as I want to try it for making meatballs.

I ordered two packs. In both packs, the bacon slices were very thick and came deeply frozen. When I defrosted it there were tons of water. The bacon was grey in color color and looked extremely unappealing. When i started to cook it the smell was terrible. Unfortunately nobody was dare to it it and everything went to trash.

Have been purchasing the monthly build a box and am loving the ease of delivery. I have a standing order for hamburger, ground pork, bacon, sausages, and steaks.

Awesome burgers. They do not shrink during cooking like store bought hamburger so they end up much bigger in circumference than a standard bun but thin. Could be made 25% thicker and 25% smaller in circumference and would be perfect. Taste was great!

Great bone marrow!! Recently started adding bone marrow and beef liver into my diet after learning how good there are for you. I have ordered both as well as multiple cuts of meat from Heartstone Farm and I can say they are by far the tastiest cuts of steak I have ever had. I will be getting my meat from here from now on!! The meat is excellent. I have been a customer for over a year and find the quality has not changed in this time. With build a box I can change what I need for our family each month as needed. The fact that I can order country bacon and sausage for breakfast is the best. As a family we are truly satisfied with all of the meat that comes from Farmer Dan others he includes. The pork chops brown up nicely when cooked slowly with a little butter in cast iron fry pan. They are very moist and tasty.
