Flavorful and delicious!

I was sorely disappointed with these hot dogs. Almost flavorless except for just a touch of what I can only describe as barnyard. I regret buying the limit and threw away the rest of the open package and the other 3 will likely follow those. The Hamburger is great, by far among the best we have ever eaten but IMO your Hot Dogs need a lot more work.

Totally loved stocking up with a bundle of brisket. So delicious!! We slow-cooked the brisket in the crock for eight hours, separated off the juice, skimmed the fat and reheated the au jus/brisket for three meals: one with garlicky green beans/onions, and also mashed potatoes, one with roasted potatoes and also roasted carrots and cauliflower. The last was sandwiches with coleslaw and potato salad. Still have two in the freezer, and planning to make one this week. Absolutely amazing!!

We looooove these tasty pasture raised Zesty Italian sausages....and the best part of it for me is the knowing that they come directly from the farm, the people that actually make it!!! Everything about this farm speaks of environmentally friendly business and animal welfare . Their customer service has been excellent and they are prompt at delivering.

The pork chops are flavorful and tender. We hardly ever purchased pork chops because of the quality issues, now we are back to eating pork chops again, local and humanely raised.

I have never in my life had to trim such an enormous amount of fat from oxtails.It was disgusting .I almost filled up a quart bag and finally gave up.They were not worth half the price i paid.This is the worst experience i have ever had. I will never order from you again.

The latest order included a NY strip. The steak was tiny. It was about 8-10 oz and less than 1/2. Great steak for a small appetite. The price is 26.00 per 14-16 oz steak. I was charged 26.00. Pricing should be by weight. I had wanted to order more than one but it seems he is limiting one per customer. Disappointing. Also, does Heartstone raise the beef they sell or are they a distributor for other farmers? With that said, the products are tasty.

I absolutely love Heartstone Farms ground beef! I purchased the 1-lb package, and added the 1/3 lb. patties to my order. Hot digity dog! I ordered the maximum number of packages of the brand new Farmer Dan hotdogs allowed. We revived a childhood tradition last night. Growing up, we would always have hotdogs and beans on Saturday night. Last night’s supper revived this tradition. First tim with Heartstone Farm Hotdogs. They were grilled to perfection and were absolutely amazing. An ever so slight touch of spice made this dog really zip. The wonderful beefy flavor was a beautiful surprise. I wish I saved a picture to share but there was a bit of a feeding frenzy at the Supper Table so…….

Good meat... but just a tad too much bone in the portion I received. Still love the quality just a little disappointed with quantity of actual meat on my 2 1/2 to 3 lb roast.

I truly enjoyed your blueberry-maple sausage links. The flavor of blueberry and maple combined with sausage was amazing! I pan seared them with scrambled eggs and toast. I would have never considered these ingredients coming together with such a pleasant taste. I definitely will be purchasing these sausage links again. You have a winner with this one. we found Heartstone as a delivery service for great meat and chicken at the start of the pandemic. We have stayed with Heartstone and will only buy from them now. The meats have a great flavor, but what I really like is the taste and texture of their chicken. It's so much nice. Unlike the majority of other chickens in this country, they DO NOT rinse the chicken meat in a chlorine bath (UGH UGH UGH). It is just so much better, try it for yourself. And ask yourself.....why do the others have to wash chickens in chlorine? Heartstone all the way :)

Far, far removed from the world of supermarket sausage. These breakfast sausages are robust, with incredibly good flavor. I’m getting best results stovetop using a cast iron skillet, preheated, and keeping the heat low. Give them some time, plan to cook these slowly, and turn the sausages at intervals to get that even browning. These will become a regular staple in our breakfast menu.

I love the meat, it is some of the best meat I have eaten and I love the fact that you don't feed the cows any corn!

We had the ribeye steaks from our 2nd Maine box last night. Another hit! Well marbled, tender and delicious. I'm still amazed at this beef. We've bought grass fed beef from other producers, but had to cook it long and slow to be able to chew it! We broiled these steaks at high heat and maybe a bit too long (came out med rare instead of rare) Mere minutes made the difference. But we still had tender, delicious steaks. Everything from our Maine box is a treat.

I absolutely loved the idea of this. And being from NH and this in northern Maine the local aspect delighted me. The chicken was great!! If I did this again I would probably just get the chicken. Unfortunately the steak strip and steak tips were the awful… very very tough. I wouldn’t get the steak here again at all. Good luck!

Fabulous from beginning to end (eat) !

I love knowing these bones come from responsible and ethical farming, they are excellent! I make broth on a regular basis.

This might be the best steak I have ever eaten. I prepared the steak by first generously salting it on both sides one hour before cooking. Since the steak was very thick (about 3 inches) I cooked it using the reverse sear method which means that I built a two zone fire and cooked it on indirect heat until the steak reached about 110 degrees internal temperature. I then cooked it on direct heat until it reached 130 degrees internal temperature using a Grill Grate to avoid flare-ups and make an attractive pattern on the steak. The results were amazing!! The steak was VERY tender and had a wonderful, rich, beefy flavor. I ordered two more after that. Highly recommend from Heartstone Farm. Thanks Dan!
