I was really disappointed in the stollen I ordered. I paid for three day delivery, but was given a delivery date of eight days, and had to contact the company to get it expedited. I ordered two loaves, one to share with friends, and this stollen is not as good as ones I have ordered from other companies. Texture is too heavy, and there is WAY too much sugar coated on the outside making it very sticky and too sweet. I will not order from 1-800-bakery again.

As this was a birthday gift I ordered from Spain for someone living in Michigan, I obviously did not try the cake but my friend says it was very good. It was delivered on time and the ordering process was easy and smooth. Will order again and recommend this site for sure.

last July I was fortunate to receive a Chambord cake as a surprise gift. I have never tasted anything so great. Absolutely out of this world. This month I was able to pass this feeling on to a cousin. She called me immediately after eating a piece of the Chambord cake I sent to her tell me what I just told you. Review book will show that I have been sending "birthday cakes" to my children at US, booking from my home country India for last 4 years. I have been privileged with a password which I have managed to forget.Unfortunately your"forgot password" is not working & it has been extremely difficult to make a purchase this year. My daughter's first birthday away from home, her 18th, arrived on time and in excellent condition! Every year we have a cookie cake for her, she does not like regular birthday cake. She said she thought it tasted good and that she and her roommates enjoyed partaking in it .

First time ordering from 800Bakery - no plans to use them again. I never rec'd a confirmation email after placing my order. Had to go through some anxiety wondering if the site is valid/secure. Sent an email requesting confirmation for my order and also password retrieval for the site. No response. The order was delivered a day late and did not resemble the photo on the website. I emailed the vendor to let them know. I asked them to either call or email me, I'd like to add that there was nothing in my spam folder. Today was the first time I rec'd an email from them and it was to give a review. So here we are.

Hi Jacquelyn - I looked up your order and it was delivered on the date you requested 9/23 at 2:26PM, maybe Shannon did not see it till the next day. It was a Birthday Coffee Cake that has a kit with the Happy Birthday and candles, maybe Shannon did not put them on the coffee cake. If you did not receive a email confirmation then your email address maybe wrong that you typed. I don't want to put it here in email. I can't say enough about these petit fours from Chef Steve. I ordered several boxes for my daughter's bridal shower. First of all, they were delivered in a very impressive and timely fashion. The freshness was incredible but what was most amazing was the quality of the cake. It was absolutely delicious. Each petit four was beautifully decorated and simply melted in your mouth. The fillings were fresh and flavorful as well. People were raving about these at the shower. I just can't say enough about them. I will be ordering them again soon and have no doubt they will be as fabulous as the first batch. Incredible delights. Gorgeous to look at and even better to eat! They had a wonderful selection i chose s chocolate carmel. Unfortunately the cske did not make it for her bday due to s missed pickup by UPS. Diane was on it letting ms know it eoulf be drlivered the next dsy and that they were issuing a credit for shipping charges. I was a little skeptical when making my purchase on 1-800-Bakery.com. Especially since I waited to place my order at the last minute, for my friends birthday, and I was told she would get it in 2 days. (From Massachusetts to Oregon?) I have been sending birthday cakes to my son for at least 10 years, and this has been the least expensive and most reliable ever. That is even though I had to use two day shipping to get it there on time because I got too busy and almost forgot his birthday! And then, I did it in such a hurry, that I put the wrong address for the shipping, and it was Sunday. But I emailed Chef Steve in a panic, and he got right back to me, fixed the problem, and the cake was delivered right on time!
