The cake was not delivered on time so i cancelled it. it was supposed to be delivered friday but it was still with ups on monday. when i called them, they said that the cake is still good since it is a brownie cake. Duhh? who would want to eat a 4 day old brownie and besides, it is no longer her birthday. I dont intend to give any star but this wouldnt allow me to post my review.

We did give you a full refund when you called us on Monday. We did say the brownie would still be good so she could still keep it if you wanted. As you know it was a UPS Issue and not do to us. We did give full refund for the UPS mistake. It would be nice if you thought we did correct to change the review. We try very hard to do what is right. All the best, Chef Steve

Cake was OK. I do understand it is difficult to ship a fresh cake. However, it would be nice to disclose that the cake was actually frozen when you shipped it. Kinda misleading - I had thought it was freshly made - not frozen.

I wanted to do something different for my brothers birthday. He lives in Austin and I live in Philly. It's hard to find something besides doing the same old gift ideas. I found 1-800-bakery.com and read the reviews and decided I would give it a shot. They did not disappoint. My brother did not stop ranting and raving on how good the cake was and the fact that it was shipped. Hands down best idea and pat on the back to me :)

I sent a gluten free birthday cake to my daughter which arrived on time and in excellent condition. Due to a recent physical illness which only allows her to eat raw vegetables, she has been unable to eat it. I think she will try to freeze it after she sees the specialist. I would order this again.

We wanted to surprise our son by having something delivered to his place of employment. We decided to go with the Birthday Petit Fours so there was plenty to go around (36 "nibble" size pieces).
