I am in Germany and my fiance lives in L.A., so I coundn't bake him a birthday cake. Finding 1-800-bakery on the internet I ordered him a birthday cake. It arrived on time. My fiance said it was very tasty and moist and it wasn't too sweet. He shared it with family members, everyone enjoyed it!

I go to college 200 miles away from my boyfriend and this was the first time I want able to be there and bake something for his birthday so I decided to give this a try. I'm so happy I did! His big birthday brownie cake got there right on time and wasn't damaged or anything. He said it was delicious, too! I'll definitely be using this service again in the future!

Paid for overnight shipping, to be delivered on a Friday for a special occasion. This company is in the eastern US and I was shipping to a nearby state. I did not receive a tracking number so I called and they said the bakery, IN CALIFORNIA!, never got the order. So the recipient ended up receiving it 4 days later, on a Tuesday--too late for the special occasion. I was reimbursed for the over night shipping cost but I was disappointed it didn't arrive when I wanted it to.

I was the hero of my mom's 91st birthday party with the lemon cake I ordered! It was delivered in great shape and everyone said it tasted wonderful. The only drawback was that I live too far away and couldn't have a piece!

I wish I had a better review. We sent this to school for Jason and arrived cracked with logo off with unwrapping the plastic. I called and your office was very lovely and said they would send out a plain B-day large cookie for him. Very appreciative EXCEPT it is now Thrusday and it never arrived. UPS said it was recieved and signed somewhere, but the dorm, room, tower, seemed not to be on ???? Our first experience thus far was much to be desired. Thank You, Michelle

Update - Hi Michelle - We talked and sent new one. Could you please remove or change this review. Thanks, Chef Steve Hi Michelle, The cake arrived yesterday at 8:19 AM to mailroom and signed by Gilbert. All the info was correct on the shipping label, I personally check it. Can you please ask the mailroom people what happened. Thanks, Chef Steve

I sent this cake for someone's birthday who is from out of state. He loved it! He said it was very fresh and very tasty. He received it on a Thursday and by that Saturday he had only one piece left and the man lives alone. I would definitely buy from 1-800 Bakery again.

I did my entire order on-line and it was seamless. The delivery worked out well, too. My mom has raved about the cheesecake twice now. I will definitely order from you again, and recommend you to my family and friends.

Living in Europe and sending a Birthday cake to my daughter in College in the US created many obstacles. Your bakery promised a discount of 15% which I did not receive. I called several times and left messages with questions and never got a call back. The carton was huge and we'll packed but a challenge for my daughter to schlep across campus. Overpriced and not worth it

My Mom is in Florida every year for her birthday. I try and send her something unique she can share with her friends. The birthday fortune cookies were an amazing surprise for her and her friends. Also rave reviews from the ladies on the cinnamon walnut coffee cake. Thanks for making her day!
