Great race, well organised and well marshalled. Lovely route with a mixture of road, parkland and a football stadium. Bag drop and medal collection was effortless and manned by lots of friendly volunteers. I would definitely run this again. My only complaint is runners with headphones. They had no awareness of people around them and veered from side to side and in congested areas were a liability. I think the crowd support is so good that it should be enjoyed by everyone and headphones banned in the future. Thanks for a great day Southampton

Really enjoyed the race day! Atmosphere was fabulous! However I don't think there was enough water stations or energy gel stations available! Information at the beginning was really bad! Pace makers weren't clear!

Great organisation, great atmosphere, nice route, great medals and t-shirt. Would be nice if the medals from different races looked more different than just the colour. Liked the entertainers and all the supporters. Liked the finish line area and the free bananas! Found the bridge a lot harder at the end unfortunately really slowed a lot of people down towards the end of their race. This year the staff at stakks didn't know about the medal discount :( overall very good day! Thank you! :)

The whole event was a great experience for my family, myself and my daughter tackling the 10k and my husband the half-marathon. Plenty of information beforehand, all the facilities and information one needed on the day, followed by water, a medal (solid proof that one has completed the event!), a sensible running T-shirt and other goodies afterwards. My highlight (no pun intended!) was managing the long uphill of the bridge at a reasonable speed without pausing, one of the advantages of living in a hilly area in Somerset.

I had a wonderful day, the route, support and organisation were fantastic. If I were to point out anything negative at all it would be the number of pedestrians on the route near the Bargate and down East street around the finish but I guess there is not much that can be done about that. Would definitely sign up for future events, thanks very much!

Really great day, I felt so proud to have completed the 10k on Sunday in memory of Sam ****** and to raise the profile of the Teenage Cancer Trust, Southampton Hospitals Teenage and Yound Adult Ward and Saints Foundation. Could only walk due to foot injury but Sam wouldn't have minded that.

Shame that the kilometre markers or pacers weren't operating. It would have been nice if there was some sort of time grading as per the signs at the start which seemed to be totally ignored. A very nice touch was the local scouts helping out. I did manage to thank a few afterwards but would like to pass on my thanks to them all

Great race, tough course but brilliant atmosphere. Will be nice as it grows to have a few more bands around the course. They always seemed to be having a break as I ran past.

Route was good, supporters and water stations were great, when fast marathoners came through we were shouted to keep over which was a bit like park run,at one point the road was. Narrow and had a lot of runners so couldn't move over, faster runner got frustrated and pushed the man.

Everything was great and lovely, but i never received my number and had to queue for a long time, at the end I ran without my number so it was not worth paying for it...

Fantastic event, incredible atmosphere, very well organised and well run. Volunteers were brilliant, the people of Southampton were sitting outside their houses to cheer everyone on. Can't wait to do it next year, what a brilliant first half marathon!
