Great event. Great helpers with nthusiasm. Ideally an additional Marshall required just after bar gate when you turn right down past sweatshop on final lap as when full of shoppers this was not clear I nearly ran down shopping street directly to finish.
Great event thanks

Absolutely loved running the 10k, it was my first ever official race! The staff/motivators were amazing and the event went really smoothly, everything happened **** on time. Would love to do one of the distances next week!

Poorly organised start - having to walk past the start line to get into the queue of people behind it! People clearly not putting themselves in the correct slot to line up at the start - I was aiming for just over 2 hours and over took many people during the first mile who clearly should have been further back in the queue. Didn't see a pacer throughout the whole 1/2 marathon. Poor goodie bag at the end.
On a more positive note, the route was good for the 1/2, bit mean on the people doing the full marathon though! The volunteers the whole way round were incredible, and it was clear the Scouts had played a big part in cheering people on too.

Very enjoyable ,great marshalling ,even though it got a bit warm on the second laps there was enough water. It would of been nice if there was two energy drink stations .See you next year and thanks for the **** and coffee, great t,-shirt????????????

Really well organised event, lots of marshals and plenty of water stops. It might be better to have the final water stop before Itchen bridge rather than after as I was really flagging after 10 miles as were quite a few first time half marathoners like myself. The support and encouragement from all the people who lined the streets and the finish line was amazing, it made it a really special day- I'll definitely be back!

Great course and was impressed with the organisation considering the amount of people taking part. I will be doing it again. I have done the Winchester and Southampton now, and I have been impressed with both.

Superb organisation, so much hard work by so many had clearly gone into this. On the less positive side while I love the fact there's now a full marathon again, as a half-marathon runner it was not easy sometimes to have to 'move over to the left' without a loss of pace as things became a little cramped. That aside, thanks to all involved, however, really well put together.

My wife and I traveled from Vancouver Canada to run a 10k. We found out the day before the race that we missed a deadline and we're registered to run a 1 mile. My wife purchased a hoodie, but we never got it because it didn't seem realistic that we would continue to travel to South Hampton for the disappointment of running a 1 mile late in the day. We just cancelled the hotel and stayed in London

This was my first ABP event. I had prebooked a pre race massage which was wonderful, could find the bag drop and toilets easily. The timings and event details were well advertised before the day and I had no trouble working anything out. There was plenty of info about parking but I wonder whether suggested dropping off points would be useful along with ideas of spectator routes to follow the people they are supporting from the sidelines. The route was interesting, scenic and challenging...the Itchen Bridge close to the end...ouch! The atmosphere was fantastic and contributed so much to me getting to the finish line. I will definitely be signing up again. Well done ABP

A fantastically supported, well marshalled and organised event. The route was not too hilly and the bridge was a good test of stamina at the end. Thoroughly enjoyed the event.
