Really enjoyed Southampton Half Marathon last weekend, the route was well supported and well managed. Also it was varied enough to be a real test. Itchen Bridge at the end was tough but felt like an massive achievement and really spurred us on to finish. Communication and support from the organisers was excellent and the race day team were enthusiastic and organised.
Definitely be back next year.

i have already emailed feedback. I thought the even was well marshalled, start and finish areas were good as were the aid and water stations. Merging the 10k and half marathons is ridiculous though, especially for runners who have trained hard for a pb. I was well ahead of schedule for a pb until Itchin bridge, it was so congested with 10k runners that I couldn't maintain my pace and really suffered with cramp as a consequence of weaving in and out.

Race well organised with great support (for the half and first lap of the full at any rate) and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Just please, please, please reverse the route so you aren't doing Itchen bridge at the end! It's killer, sent my PB time right out the window! Good day though, the medal and shirt were great. A really good race, well organised start and finish with great medal and tshirt. It would have been nice to have a water station earlier in the 10km route. By the time I got to the water station after the bridge I was rather dehydrated.

Great day all in all but was a bit disappointed in the mile medal, thought it would of been a metal one, also that there was no adult t shirts at the finish of the mile. I'm not exactly small and the biggest was a youth xl!

Was hard but was so excited for it and best my time from last year I suffer from cystic fibrosis and had a double lung transplant four years ago so completing this is lost for words moment I hope I can aspire more people that anything can happen

Start of the 10k was poorly signed, and some of the route! Very hilly and hard route! And there were no 10k Tshirts left when we finished, which was very sad. But excellent crowds and a great atmosphere!

Great event, well thought out water stops fuel etc. only thing i would change is to split up the itchen bridge section as going up and down twice was an absolute killer maybe add in a loop before ascending again
