Had one before (Black & White) for a long time until it finally gave out. This new color version is terrific!

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The weather station works fantastic!
A few things the first time buyer should know:
1) The written instructions for connecting to the internet are not clear. I could only figure it out by watching the video.
2) The spring in the rain gauge does not really hook to anything.
3) The camera set up requires a router with an ethernet connection. Starlink does not have an ethernet port.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC Replacement Wind Cups, WS-1900, WS-2000 and WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
The original part had failed at the screw hole where I noticed a crack and half of the unit had fallen off.
I did not tighten the screw so tight this time. May have been damaged by bird landing but not sure.

Wrong power transformer

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I got the Ambient, 1 month after it was packed and sent. UPS likely the issue. But the transformer was incorrect. Also requires me to switch my router to 2.4GHz only.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
It does most everything I need it to do. The app interface is a bit lacking and could use a refresh for sure but it still works. The display is nice and easy to read but a bit cumbersome to get through sometimes. Overall very dependable so far with exception to the optional soil moisture sensor I got which drops in and out of being connected throughout the day. Other than that it's fun and exciting to pay more attention to the weather.

I needed a mounting pole for an outdoor weather station I purchased.
The ease of ordering and putting the item in its place was "easy as pie".
I recommend Ambient products.

Very nice weather station. Replaced an old one. This is way better! I like the easy to navigate info screen. Only wish I could get a gust memory for more than just previous 16 minutes.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Did some research on weather stations compatible with HomeAssistant that didn't require the cloud, and ended up choosing this one.
It was relatively easy to setup, aside from the rain cup which took quite a bit of force to get snapped on.
I got it mounted on the roof and integrated it with HomeAssistant(via HACS: Ambient Weather Station - Local) after a little snafu with needing to set the MAC Address Override in the addon.
Since then it has given me more data than I know what to do with, dozens of graphs and statistics, and I use it for several automations around the house.
I do wish the mounting groove/indentation was a bit further down, but with a few zip ties I got it mounted without too much fuss.
Love this little dude, quite glad I went with it.
