Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
We had conducted lots of weather station research prior to settling on the Ambient Weather WS-2902D. The small portion of assembly required was very easy using the manual. Used Ambient Weather's great customer technical assistance to connect the station to my WI-FI, update firmware and adjust time zone. The customer support was just awesome. The quality and value of the WS-2902D are great and I would highly recommend it!

Ambient Weather was extremely helpful. Part of our older system had gotten damaged and their educated staff helped with the necessary parts. I also received them in a couple days. I highly reccomend this company.

Ambient Weather Network Weather Window
The Weather Window LCD Display is much easier to program and to read than the original display that comes with the WS-5000 Weather Station. Also, it works simultaneously with the original display, so it can be installed in another location in your home or facility. I would like to see the display graphic for Wind Speed and Direction from the original WS-5000 to be available on the Weather Window Display. Overall, an excellent addition for the WS-5000 Weather Station.

Clear directions for easly assembly. Connect to the internet was a bit clumsy and several steps but in the end connected. No problems with staying connected. Display setup was straightforward. Good manual.

She is very pleased with it. She is a weather geek. Installed at her mountain cabin in Colorado at 9,000'. So far so good in the bitter cold weather.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I purchased this WZ-2902D because my old original 2902 sensors failed to communicate. After 10 days and I tried everything, even called tech support, it suddenly started working again. So my new "D" model sits waiting for the old to fail me again. It reminds of the old Maytag commercial and I am the tech waiting for a repair.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I had the original 2902 weather station and put it about 160' from the house (on my barn). It worked good for about a year, then became "intermittent" in reaching the display. I moved the display to a window facing the barn and that worked for a while, but then again, the signal just didn't want to stay solid. Finally I moved the outside unit to the garage... about 80' away. That worked for a few years, but then again, the signal was "intermittent." Finally I thought it was time to replace the olc unit. So, I put up the new 2902-D and it is working great (still on the garage, so only 80' from the house.) I really like the unit and displaying the information on outside conditions is very helpful. I would definitely buy it again.

I like it a lot but my only complaint is if my power goes off it loses the internet connection and I lose my data, like rain amounts, wind gusts, and clock is off which I have to reset the connection.
