Ambient Weather WS-2801A Advanced Wireless Color Forecast Station with Temperature, Humidity and Barometer
Very nice product. Looks very good. Screen could be a little larger for this item or one of your other products. This not the first product I bought and they are all very accurate and nicely made. You should consider one with a large screen.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC-ASSEMBLY Replacement Wind Speed Assembly, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-2902A
I have a 2902 array that started experiencing high current drain and no wind speed reading. Replaced the wind speed module and it solved both problems.

Improvement over the WS-1001

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I have owned the WS-1001 for years and it has been remarkable, but has trouble re-connecting to the wi-fi without rebooting it. This one seems to have a more stable connection. The range of the sending unit is under-reported. I have it over 200 feet away at the end of a dock. Granted the only obstruction is a double pain piece of glass, but still, 200+ feet and still multiple bars of service. Very nice.

Instruction book is out of date, including the PDF version online. Unit seems to work well, although it did "lock-up" one time and required a complete reset. Instructions on the reset in the instruction book(s) was out of date.

Best money I have ever spent

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I have been a weather geek as far back as my memory goes. My interest in weather has always had me watching weather forecasts and the skies for approaching storm clouds. Storms excite me, especially snow storms. I finally decided I needed a weather station to help me feel complete and bring me joy. Did lots of research, asked people for recommendations. Ambient WS-2000 met all my requirements. Working with the Ambient team was very helpful, purchase was processed and delivered very fast, system was easy to install and set up. My WS-2000 has been up for about 1 month. The display sits on my home office desk so I can monitor the data easily and regularly. I bought extra temperature sensors for my plant room, garage, attic, and crawl space under my house. So interesting to see how the temps fluctuate and to monitor for any concerns. The money spent was well worth it. If you have a strong interest in monitoring weather or just curious about how much rain, what is the wind speed, how warm or cold it is I would highly recommend the Ambient WS-2000.

Overall, I am very pleased with this weather station. It was very easy to install and connect to the internet. Using the app to monitor activity is my preferred way to access current and trend data. My only disappointment is that in my research, I was led to believe that this model allowed the addition of one more sensor and the lightning detection sensor was one that could be added. After purchase, I went to the Ambient website only to learn that only a few sensors could be added, and the lightning detection sensor was not one of them. MY bad for relying on third party reviews that did not contain completely accurate information.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
About two months into ownership, everything has been great. Setup and assembly was quick and painless. Logging into my wi-fi router was easy and setting up my Ambient Weather account went without a hitch. The station is now reporting to Weather Underground and establishing the account was painless as well. Everything has been great. I got two additional temp sensors so I can monitor my freezers. A perfect system for us weather geeks!

New design takes some getting used to. The data reported is in a different part of the screen than than the old design. System will not go "on-line". Have contacted tech support to no help. As long as you don't want to see data on your phone, all is good
