Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The information provided to help make a decision was excellent. And when I receive the WS-2000 it actually had more features (additional sensors) than I expected.
Highly recommended.

Ambient Weather WS-3000-X8 Wireless Thermo-Hygrometer with Logging, Alarming, Radio Controlled Clock with 8 Remote Sensors
Works as desired, the display was smaller than expected, but very easy to read as the display has excellent resolution.
The only thing we wish is that it would be easier to reset all the min/max values as well as view each of the min and max values.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
I needed this because the original adapter quit working after only 1.5 years. The new adapter works well (so far). This is the only flaw with the station.

It’s an absolutely fantastic product. This is my second ambient weather station and it’s a high-quality product. Very easy to set up and install, yet full of very detailed measurements. And it provides a very comprehensive set of data.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The weather station transaction went very smoothly. After it arrived it was simple to assemble and installation on my backyard pole was a piece of cake. I've had it for a couple months now and it is working flawlessly with my indoor display. I've read some reviews saying the indoor display is hard to read from a side angle but I don't seem to have that issue. I have since the original purchase bought 3 more temperature/humidity sensors and have those placed strategically around my house. They talk with the phone app perfectly giving me the information I want at anytime from anywhere. For me, this is a great buy and I highly recommend you also give it a try.

Good Bird Spike Kit

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
This is a good kit but it will take some extra work if you want the spikes bent like in the picture. They are shipped straight. Also I couldn't get the band tight enough on the funnel so I ended up using JB Weld to attach the ring to the funnel. This worked well. The instructions are not very good. It was difficult to figure out how many spike receivers to put on a band to make an even distribution. I ended up wasting one band so it's a good thing there are extra included. Once you connect the band there's no undoing it.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
It’s been almost a year since I installed 2 of the WS-5000 units. Very accurate readings, and the only issue I would urge be considered is to include bird spikes for the rain dish. Both units, South Texas and North Central New Mexico, have had issues with bird droppings clogging the dish.
I am cooperating with a University where they want to install a weather station on the NMx ranch, within 2 miles of the house. Will be interesting to compare reporting….
