Ambient Weather WeatherMount Weather Station Mount
Well made, heavy duty pole for mounting the weather station. It is wndy on this ridge and securing the weather station is mandatory. Also, it’s shown mounting to a eve or wall… I found it best for mounting on the roof at the ridgeline. Often roof ridge lines have venting which is difficult to fasten through or does not have sheathing to fasten too. This bracket is ideal and sturdy. The base cleanly attaches to the roof sheathing below the ridge line. Infinitly adjustable to any roof pitch.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I found out that the app is the best part of the weather station, besides the weather station works great. I had apps for other weather stations and they sucked. If your wind gauge battery died and you replaced them you would almost have to re-setup your app. you get that working then the rain gauge would go out and you have to do it all over again. so far this weather station is working great

So far so good.
My only dislike (I’m in a windy area) is the display wind information. The gust reading is to short of a time frame and my last weather station display the maximum wind speed over 24 hour which I liked.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-ARRAY Replacement Sensor Array, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Weather Station
Best station I have. Found over the years. My previous AW station lasted 4 years. The upgrade program and newsletter subscriber discount were a welcome bonus. I did have a little trouble getting the WiFi to connect but the extended hard reset did the trick!

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Overall very pleased. It was easy to set up and the instructions were clear.
We are still getting use to the detail of the settings (it has only been 2 weeks) but one feedback. On the weekly stats it would be better to use a rolling 7 day total rather than absolute start/stop (for us it is each Sunday). That would be more useful and provide a more realistic analysis of weather patterns.
I would be interested in your response - so can someone please respond. Thank you

Device well packaged. Easy to set up and install. Loved the bonus sensor when purchased directly.
Wind vain was a little stiff.
Documents Could be more clear or include advanced settings for other servers. Docs said you could from console but was not clear on how and could not find advanced interface. Ended up using app to set up.
Cluncky user interface on console to many buttons to press to navigate.
Would be nice to have battery option for power outage build in for no data loss.
Would be nice to be able to set up from a app like other models.
Console smaller than expected hard to read from more than 5 feet away.
3 weeks seems to be reporting the same as others in my area.
Using ambientweather2mqtt was nice to get all data from console to my home assistant for use of logging and automation locally with no need to use on line integration.

Great information source, Internet connectable and viewables on smartphone or web page. Definitely not a toy and looks like will last a long time! Would only suggest a remote battery mount for the windspeed , direction and raingauge so that demounting the device to replace such batteries would not be needed- otherwise recommended!
