Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Easy to set up. Screen is laid out nicely. This is my second Ambient weather station. First one lasted over 6 years but because we built a new shed, we decided to update it. Love to see see OUR data on Weather Underground.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The weather station has a lot of detailed information and was relatively easy to set up though having it connect to the internet is a bit of a challenge. Still getting used to all the features but seems to work quite well, much better than the LaCrosse station I had.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I've had it on my roof for about three weeks now and it has been great. I have the console fairly far away from the instruments and the connection is strong. The console looks great, and it displays quite a lot of data. I love the expandablility of the station and look forward to getting the lightning detector. I have two minor issues with it though. First, the rain gauge on mine seems to be reading about 1/4 to 1/2" low, compared to the other weather stations around me (one is only a block away). There is a way to calibrate it but for that I need a precise physical rain gauge to measure it against. That will cost me another $40. It seems that there would be a way to calibrate these at the factory. The second issue is that there's no battery power for the console, so if you lose power, you lose data. Data being gathered during weather events that would cause me to lose power might be some of the more interesting data to gather, so that seems like a bummer. Aside from those issues, I really enjoy it.

Been following the weather for well over 50 years and this is the finest instrument I've ever had. If it keeps up with its accuracy it will be 6-8 stars!

After we figured things out, we have grown to really like our new weather station. There were a few picky set up issues that prevent me from giving five stars.
