Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
My only complaint is that the rain gauge (self-emptying) can't deal with snow. We have a separate snow gauge, but I can't compare how the two systems compare. For most of the year, this won't be an issue. We enjoy viewing the information on the indoor screen, as well as being able to check information online.

I'm really enjoying my new purchase. It replace an older Oregon Scientific and is a great upgrade. However, I wish I had known the PM25 doesn't connect to other services like PurpleAir or WeatherUnderground before I purchase it.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Nice up grade. The non-mechanical wind speed should be a great feature long term. Up and running in little time with no great effort. Failed to "see" WIFI at first but treating as a "Hidden SSID" (which it was not) solved the problem. That the wind speed and rain monitors are separate is a plus as each sensor can have its own and different location requirements.
I like that ambient includes extra small parts but instructions might note that as at times I was left wondering where that extra piece should go

Does the job, works like it should.

It looks like it will do the job. The only comment I have is when installing the ring that you are very careful in putting the metal ring too far into the catch. There is not enough length to allow a mistake.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I like this unit it is easy to use and setup. I would have liked a bigger display (personal opinion), and with that, to have a battery back up in the display for power outages. Since IT IS a weather station and, during a storm, I would like pinpoint information (I.G. wind, rain, lighting, due point Ect.). Without a battery backup the display is useless if the power is interrupted.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
WS-2902D - I already own a B version. The D version was easier to setup vs the B. This one is located on a remote ranch in West Texas. My first one has gone thru hail storms, 70mph wind and 110 degree summer days and still works great. Thus, my decision to purchase a 2nd one. I use the Ambient API in conjunction with my server to generate temp, wind & rainfall text that is embedded on time-lapse photos (1 minute intervals) from a webcam located at the Ranch. Once you figure out Ambient's API, they're easy to use.

Ambient Weather WH31SM Soil Moisture Sensor for WS-2000, WS-5000 Weather Stations
A little tedious to setup up having to get dry soil. Now, it will just rain, I will see if it can detect some moisture in a real world setting.
